Set up for 2028
It seems that PT is behaving, at least long enough for me to get the rundown for next week. I believe it's accurate, but still double check my work. It seems there will be no PT hardware for OL this week. The only team still playing is Port Ruppert in the Silver World Series. They are, however, down three games to one. I was surprised to log in at 6:50 and see them still playing. If we're diligent and PT cooperates, we'll have five crowns up for grabs in 2028.
Here you go: Diamond - Aomori, New York, North Bay, Mount Hawke, Waffletown Gold - Port Ruppert, Bushwood, Auckland, Waxhaw, Los Angeles, Claptown, Greenland, Baltimore Silver - Doug, Wilmington, SaukCentre, Solorado Springs, Savannah Bronze - Terra Incognitas, Matter Do Ees, Shinbone, Brooklyn, Aceldama, Daytona Beach, Bruno, Columbia, Grovers Mill Iron - Fort Davis, Long Beach, Bodeaux, Austin, Coney Island, Eden Prairie, Detroit, Belo Horizonte, Holy City Stone - Card Era Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 06-19-2022 at 09:25 PM. |

Belo Horizonte will be joining the other (including Bordeaux) in next week's Iron league. With all 3 of my teams appropriately placed in the lowest level of OL, it will be only appropriate for me to cover the stats for them this week.

Awards in Iron
Some post-season awards for OL I184...
Jimmie Foxx (Grovers Mill) takes home the Kauff Award for his outstanding season. Foxx belted 51 HR's with 109 RBI while putting up a 1.035 OPS. Foxx's teammate, Mark Prior, captures the Denton True Award for his outstanding work. Prior was 16-7 for the Invaders. |

![]() "Congrats to Port Rupprect for winning it all. Second year in a row these baboons have knocked us out of the playoffs. The only thing to do is pull out the ol Billy Barool for next season." Bushwood looks forward to the next 18. There's a brown Audi parked in the Judge's parking space. We will have it towed by opening day. Last edited by smales72; 06-19-2022 at 10:13 PM. |

Idk why I called diamond league "platinum". I must have platinum cards on the brain. I have a few low ones, but they seem overpriced. I wonder if their upcoming mission rewards are going to be really good or something uninspired like the Future Legends mission pack rewards. |

Not gonna bore anyone with the details, but I had a ROUGH weekend with PT. Was just about to go nuclear, when I pulled a Gary Sheffield with Mevagissey. That just about kept me from going critical. Packs have been bollox.
Fingers crossed for good league placements and a good week of OL. |

2028 Tier breakdown:
misses at Iron (Eden Prairie and Detroit... I'm thinking Detroit has reconsidered joining OL as they have yet to make it into a league with the rest of the teams, so short of hearing from 2-seamer otherwise, I'm dropping them from the sheet), and at Silver (annoyed with this one as out of 5 teams, 2 are off by themselves and only 3 in the same league ).... Bronze, Gold, Diamond look good. For the Diamond teams, if you're feeling ambitious (and if I heard right) the first Perfect tier season is next week, so win it all this season and get a bump up with the big dogs Stone= 1 team Iron= 9 teams (7 in one league, 2 in separate leagues) Bronze= 9 teams Silver= 5 teams (3 in one league, 2 in separate leagues) Gold= 8 teams Diamond= 5 teams |

yeah, not much change with the Waffletown lineup.... did finish off the Negro League OF mission, so Cool Papa will be patrolling centerfield for the club... other than that, it's business as usual (aka - Syrups cup-o-coffee at Diamond tier won't even have time to get tepid before they head back to Gold )

Diamond league:
Waffletown and North Bay will get to beat up on each other 19 times this season in the NC Central. Everyone else spread out in separate divisions (assuming New York will come up short unless they get interleague with the Central or West) |

Bronze League
A decent spread, maybe a bit quiet for Brooklyn.

Iron
Holy City alone in the AC Central, but everyone else gets paired with an OL buddy.

It was a good year to be an Invader, even if we didn't take the crown.
My OOTP GO Packs Only team, the newly revived Salem Witches, went all the way to the top and grabbed their Rookie League crown. My other Packs Only team is taking its own sweet time collecting historical cards, but should be OL compliment (if not competitive) next week.

), and quite a few late nights tinkering with graphics. I've always stuck mostly to iron and bronze quicks (Bo5/Bo7) because they fill the fastest when things are slow, and they're cheapest to keep up with! FWIW, I've never bothered with data. |
