No change at the top, as Holy City has remained OL-idle. The Hurricanes are on track for the title, with only six OL games left on their schedule. Their 3-game set with Belo Horizonte this month will be more of a test. Moribund Fort Davis has the other three games against Holy City in August. The Waves shouldn't have much effect on the Hurricanes, as is usually the case.

I have come to the conclusion that Packs Only is the most fun way to play. It's just too easy to make a juggernaut team otherwise. Even in F2P. Grovers Mill is almost totally diamond cards from missions, so not much room for improvement. With a Packs Only team, when you draw a great card it FEELS like a great card. This, of course, is just my opinion.

Hey Magus, this is very much a work in progress and I've got a good throne which I'm yet to trace. Is this at all like you imagined?

Diamond league:
Mount Hawke takes 2 of 3 from Waffletown to move back alone atop the standings (and as expected Waffletown and North Bay are beating each other up to cancel each other out. 8-8 with 3 games to go) |

Auckland have put themselves in a good position, and it looks like we're down to 4 contenders.

Brooklyn have completed their steady rise to the top of the league, now they have the pressure of trying to stay there!

I've just gained about 40 minutes a day by deciding to waive the white flag at PDs. Haven't won a card since the leaderboards went live and seem to have a hard cap of 5th place. Still haven't had a 3rd place finish, which is just bizarre at this point. IDK, a lot of stuff just seems odd. I'm not the least bit bothered about the leaderboards, and I don't want to step on the toes of the P2W, it's just nice to get the odd free card!
Anyway, never mind, OL is still the gift that keeps on giving. P.S. I'm glad to see that the Baltimore Barons have turned things around, and are now making teams like Claptown look like chumps! Seemed like HRB could do with a boost

I do well enough at tournaments, but I don't think I've ever won ANYTHING at PD. You would think random chance would get me somewhere once in a while even if I knew nothing about baseball. Okay, I admit that maybe I don't know as much as I probably should - but still...

Perfect Draft is a waste of time. Great concept, but there is no reason to waste 10-20 mins drafting a team if all it's gonna do is lose in the first round. Plenty of better ways to use that time.
A nap fits in nicely.

(Midday report. Early round of golf. I don't want to talk about it.)
Belo Horizonte in the lead, but Holy City has two more games against Fort Davis. Win both and they make things interesting. |

Tournament question for you guys. I have collected bronze cards from packs and filled in some blanks to create a tournament team. I am having a problem with 11 cards in two different ways. Here is one example of each roster issue
I pulled a bronze Tom Seaver in a pack yesterday, he is on my reserve roster of my main team. When I enter a tournament he is nowhere to be found. I checked inactive cards etc. I have an 18 yr old rated a 0 on my tournament roster with no name and no ratings who has a last 10 price of 2,207-which coincides with Seaver's last 10. I am assuming that is supposed to be him-He is the only player that shows up this way. Joe Mauer, when I enter a tournament he shows up, but is nowhere to be found on my main PT team in either reserve or inactive rosters. Is anybody else seeing this as a problem or am I doing something wrong? |

Diamond league:
Mount Hawke holds a comfortable lead in the OL standings as everyone else appears to be afraid of bumping their head on the .500 bar. Only the hapless Syrups are in relegation territory at this point. |

Auckland are in a great position, but let's just assume that LA or Claptown still have a sniff of a chance.

Mevagissey's 11-2 month has propelled them to a big lead.

Hey, Tinkerman
I'd like to see what your prodigious talents could do with this fellow, if Magus likes him.
