Rookie Report
As the 2025 season winds down in the remote outpost of R91, Ft. Huachuca (somehow, forever fixed in my brain as the Hoochie-Coochie Buffaloes...sorry, no disrespect intended) and Ring Road are both looking forward to playoff season.
The Buffalo Soldiers have already clinched the NC East, while the Rams are trying to hang onto a wild-card spot in the NC Central. A first-round matchup between the rookie rivals is highly possible. The sole rookie representatives (yeah, we know...Jefferson Valley is stuck in OL purgatory) met only six times in the regular season, with Ring Road winning the season series 4-2. Both teams hope to represent Our League well during the post-season and gain more opportunities for competition in 2026.

Bronze Final
The only surprise is after a couple of days Weston Pointe dropped an OL game. Congratulations to the Caspers on capturing the Crown. The Puppies cruised into second place with the War Robots finishing third.
Only three OL teams made the playoffs. The Puppies will face Ouran in the wild card in the AC. Paolo was 3-4 vs Ouran in the regular season. If they move past Ouran it will setup a matchup against the AC top seed Weston Pointe. In the NC Cary was the only OL team that made the playoffs, as the top seed. The War Robots who were in battle with Laramie for the second WC spot fell three games short as Laramie put up a 20-3 record in September. |

It's Official! Highlanders Capture OL I210 Crown for 2025
Brigadoon wasted no time, clinching the crown in it's first game of yesterday's sim. Seems someone has polished up his tractor and is decked out for the parade to come.

The Wrap Up
Good luck to play off teams. Forgot to mention that Brigadoon, Waffletown and Asheboro will be moving up to bronze. The rest of iron remains. Please, let's try to be diligent about the Friends List. There are 31 of us, so you will need to leave one off not from your level. Thanks.

and it's yet another testament to the level of competition in OL that Waffletown finished sub-500 here (20-25), but managed to be the only other 100 win team in the league (100-62) along with the Highlanders (124-38) |

The Midwest Kaiju will be leaving OL starting next week. I want to play around with them and may throw some money at them.

Hope it wasn't the Ito twins, and the lurking specter of Mothra that did it. |

With the two best DS records from losing teams being promoted, I believe my guys need to make the CS for promotion, so here's hoping!

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the Bronze standings, going into the last day of the regular season, K-Town had lost 23 of their last 25 games and looked to be a lock to be relegated to Iron.
Of course, the bottom-dwelling Rock Piles managed to beat playoff-bound Ouran High School, to secure another season of getting the KRP knocked out of it next season. Yay.

Iron playoff update:
Syrups versus Snappers; Brewers versus Underdogs will either have an all-BFF finals, or an OL-BFF showdown in the WS |
