The Doves were tough on Bugs Raymond in the 9th but he got the job done as Brooklyn picked up a 5-4 win.

Jack Coombs pitched very well in his debut with the Superbas, but Herm Malloy was much less effective in the 9th and Brooklyn lost 4-2 to the Giants.

The Superbas lost some concentration late, allowing three unearned run son three errors, but it was because they led by so much. They ended up beating the Giants 13-4.

Honus Wagner reached base five times, with three singles and two walks. He came around to score three of those times.
Bob Coulson drove in four and Ed Clark hit a home run!

Sam Crawford knocked in all three runs.

The first game against the Pirates was a nail-biter as the Bucs loaded them in the 9th and scored once, but the Superbas held on for a 3-2 win behind a solid pitching performance by Bill Bailey.

The second game of the double header was a wild affair, including a three run 9th inning by Brooklyn to tie it up, but it was Pittsburgh who got the walk off home run in the 11th to win, 9-8.
