I will mention, many players who signed MiLB deals this winter (Jason Heyward, Demarcus Evans are two examples) seem to have been added onto team's 40-man rosters already by the AI -- so they're set to become FAs again as soon as the in-game offseason begins.

Also, Tommy Kahnle's (NYY) contract (two years, $5.5M per) is missing.

Ohh and love changing the "RP must pitch to 3 batters" rule. Hate that one!

No prob!! Great catch on some of the veteran minor league offers like Heyward.

Yes the RP pitching to 3 batters rule is the first thing I change LOL

Looks like Schedule Spring Training checkbox is unchecked in this file, just FYI for anybody who makes it to February and is confused why no games appear.

Hey gang,

Here is the real 2023 MLB schedule to use with this file.

**** IMPORTANT **** You will need to load it during the "preseason" portion of the season....in my game the date is February 28, 2023.

League Settings-> Options -> Edit League Schedule (upper right). Delete game-generated schedule, and load schedule attached.

Seeing some players on 2 different 40-man rosters? Anyone know how to get rid of them? I've tried cloning them and deleting the original player and moving the clone to their correct team but they still remain on both 40s

Once all teams are back to AI can control and make moves I believe it should resolve itself.

If it impacts your specific team, you can put the player on waivers and DFA, then in editor edit the players days on waivers and DFA to zero. If needed then in drop downs assign player to your team.

Another release today with:

- FA/trades as of 1/11
- Several starting pitchers had movement ratings too low. I’ve increased them a bit
- Reviewed and leveled a bit some of the Top 100 prospects. I believe a few had potentials a bit too high

My plan is to start my personal save after this release.

Fred McGriff in the Hall of Fame,Miguel Cabrera shouldn't be up for Hall of Fame intill next year. Also you might want to get rid of some Events like Free Agents Starts,Manager of the Year and so on because date in Game is in November not today.

One observation (and I have no idea what impacts this and it likely isn't something most would consider major).

Around early May a handful of players are posted by their *** and KBO teams. The timing is wonky, sure, but if you can get past that then the real issue arises. Offers seem to disappear when closing out the game.

Example. Yuki Matsui is one of the players who gets posted (lefty closer, one of the top arms in ***, likely wants to come stateside after the 2023 season). I offer him a contract. I play out each of my games, so with an extended session I'll get a week or so of games in. My offer is still pending. If I close out OOTP and come back to it later (that day or another day, it doesn't matter) then suddenly there is no pending offer anymore. I have to resubmit it each time.

It's easy to do, sure, but it's kind of a nuisance. Any thoughts?

I re-opened my game following the latest OOTP update. Suddenly all the posted players available have different names and are now South African???

The *** also seems to have been removed entirely, even from a save file that had it before the update.

Serious bummer!!
