Transylvania, in front of their home fans got the job done and swept Jefferson Valley. The Impalers have two OL games left this month against Left Coast, if they should win those two we will enter September with the Rebels ahead by a mere .007

One third of the way through August, and Vlora maintains the slimmest of leads over Daytona Beach in Stone 100. A sweep of Ring Road and and taking two of three from the Tortugas in July put the White Stallions on top.

In non-OL play, Daytona Beach is dominating the competition, with a league-best record, 33 games over .500. Ring Road is 1.5 games out of a wildcard spot, while Vlora is 2.5 games out. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Soldiers are stranded somewhere on the range.

The Impalers close the gap going 5-0 yesterday and putting the pressure on Jefferson Valley.

The Impalers have six games remaining, all against Left Coast. They will complete their schedule before the Rebels play their final four OL games when Sierra Vista comes to Jefferson Valley.



In the AC only one team holds down a playoff spot, K-Town who sits atop the WC standings. St. Louis in the AC East who came into yesterday 2 games under .500 put up a 19-8 record yesterday to pass both Ononokizaka and Cochise County. The WC race in the AC show five teams within 3.5 games of a playoff spot.

The NC has an OL team leading each division. Bluffton trail Sierra Vista by 6.5 games in the East and the teams meet six times today.

Morning guys. I have a request I wanted to throw out to the group here. I am trying to track down the stats for a particular mission reward card. It's not on the AH, I don't see it on any of the card value spreadsheets I have and nobody in our bronze league has it on the roster and I don't think there is any other way I can locate it except by seeing if one of you either has it or is in a league where the player is there.

The card is the 96 OVR Tim Hudson.

If anyone sees the card I would appreciate a picture of the stats. Thanks!

P.S., not to whine but Annandale is on course with respect to my predictions. And that's even WITH Brigadoon sweeping Annandale's division leader and losing 2 to Annandale (they couldn't have provided more help than that... and no I didn't change any settings for either team there! )

there's only one path for that to happen....


Annandale only has 2 OL games remaining... Waffletown has 6... only way the Syrups take the crown is 2 losses by Annandale and 6 wins by Waffletown.... while anything is possible, I'm not holding my breath for that outcome

Not an OL club, but want to give a little shout out to the Arkansas Hillbillies' Jeff Bagwell.... just went without a hit in a game for the first time in 37 straight.... longest hit streak I've ever witnessed in PT

The Daytona Beach Tortugas used a four-game sweep of rival Ring Road Rams to forge a percentage-points lead in Stone 100.

Only one 3-game series remains in OL competition for the season, with the Tortugas traveling to Ring Road. If Daytona Beach can take two of three from the Rams, they will take the Stone title. However, if somehow the Rams can take two of three, the Vlora White Stallions would end the season as Stone champs.

It's a tall order for Ring Road. They haven't fared well against Stone 100's best team, with a 5-11 record against Daytona.

Meanwhile, despite remaining mathematically eligible for the Stone pennant, Vlora is only playing .500 ball in Stone 100 and probably will not even make the playoffs.

The final 3-game set between Daytona and Ring Road begins at 10pm (EDT) [EDIT: Actually, 10:30pm (EDT)]

Quick Iron OL update. Transylvania dropped 4 of 6 to Left Coast completing their schedule for the season. Jefferson Valley needs at least a split in their four games with Sierra Vista to pass the now leading Impalers and win the crown.

Congratulations to Stone 100 OL Champs, Daytona Beach. The Tortugas split the first two games of their final OL series against rival Ring Road, setting up a do-or-die final game.

Game 1 saw Daytona's bullpen give up a run in the bottom of the ninth, before hanging on in 11 innings for an 8-6 victory. Ring Road would come back in Game 2 with a come-from-behind 6-4 win.

Game 3 was almost an exact repeat of Game 1, with Daytona's pen once again giving up the tying run in the bottom of the ninth, and the Rams' pen returning the favor by allowing a run in the top of the 12th for the Tortugas' 7-6 final margin.

Daytona Beach is headed for the playoffs as the favorite, with a league-best record. Ring Road remains a long shot for the playoffs, 3.5 games out of the wildcard with 4 games left to play in the AC.

Meanwhile, Vlora has pulled into a tie for the 2nd wildcard spot in the NC. Ft. Huachuca has long been eliminated from playoff contention.

While the Buffalo Soldiers remain in Stone, the three other OL teams have a shot at moving up next season.

Jefferson Valley needed a split in their final 4 game series vs Sierra Vista to take home their first OL crown. The Rebels won 2 of the first three before dropping the 4th game but it was good enough to edge out Transylvania.

We have the Rock Piles heading to the WC game in the AC and in the NC we have the three division winners, Sierra Vista, Jefferson Valley and Transylvania heading to the post season. The Impalers and Scorpions will square off in the division series. The teams split their six regular season meetings.

Palolo, winner of multiple OL crowns in the past, took home their first in this iteration of PT, cruising in OL S274. All the teams, except the Sisyphus-like Asylum Keepers, who keep welcoming their OL brethren as they pass through, will be moving on to gold for 2028. I've attached the playoff tree. Good luck to those still playing. Time to go back to the bottom an get that rock ready for next week's pushing.

The Atom Smashers completed their wire-to-wire cruise to the OL B201 2027 crown, turning back the Waffletown Syrups. All teams will be promoted except, Hartford, which will remain in bronze, and Asheboro, headed back to iron. There is decent potential for an all OL World Series. Good luck to all.
