Doppelganger comes out of nowhere to catch a foul ball in deep left field, while the erstwhile left fielder is still running toward the ball.

Hidden ball trick. No idea where this ball is hit. Can't see the ball and no fielder reacts to it, though PBP says SS couldn't reach it.

Not sure what's going on here. There is a ground ball next to 2b. The SS and 2B stand and watch it while the CF comes all the way in to pick up the infield single. The PBP describes it as a sinking liner to CF, but the ball first hits the ground on the pitcher's mound and barely makes it to 2B.

This happens a lot in OOTP, but never happens in a real game. After receiving the cut-off throw from an outfielder, the infielder then carries the ball deeper into the outfield, rather than running it in toward the infield. Also, though not shown here, almost every throw from the outfield apparently goes underground (or disappears) between the pitcher's mound and home. But I imagine you've already seen that by now, if you've played any games out.
