Pittsburgh Pirates SP Lefty Leifield is expected to miss 7-8 more weeks as he recovers from surgery to remove scar tissue from his shoulder.

The Cleveland Naps placed SS Terry Turner on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 26. He will miss three weeks due to a strained oblique.
