When you Unzip the download you will have a .lg folder.

You need to place that .lg folder into the "Saved Games" folder.

The easiest way to find the "Saved Games" folder is by going to OOTP Main Screen --> Settings --> Troubleshooting --> Open folder containing Saved Games

The game will now be available from "Load Game" on the main OOTP screen.

I import one of the roster files from the v7 file and when I go to save I loose allot of players.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I was surprised that league stats such as KBO were also entered. I will enjoy it with Korean users. Thank you for making.

OK I decided I am going to use this game to start my 2023 season with.
How do I import the 2023 schedule file I downloaded from here.
When I go to edit schedule and try to import it says:


Schedule can only be imported during pre-season

Disregard I figured it out

I (might) finally have some free time to get a 2023 game started but I have two questions regarding scouting.....
....you remind us to set a scouting budget for 2023 but....
1) should this be done right away (first day of start up)?
2) will AI set a scouting budget for the remaining teams?

Sorry, but in the case of 1) it's been so long since I completed a full season of management and I've forgotten the timing of everything and....2) well, I've just never started a game with 0.00 budgets before.

Hey dude

Here is what I did on my version:
- Stay in commish mode and put $8M for every team's scouting budget.
- Select team you want to manage, then select all computer teams can run AI decisions
- After the winter meetings are over, you can import the correct MLB draft order from a file placed earlier in this thread
- When you get to Preseason (usually in February), go in to delete the MLB schedule, and then import the 2023 schedule. Again this is a file that is listed earlier in this same thread.

CBL. Quick question for you!

I'm in mid-May. The SAB (South African Baseball) League's season just ended, apparently. Their schedule was pretty short. Now I have SAB free agents available on the open market because it's their offseason. I really don't want to go on Commish mode to prevent them all from signing places in my league but I'm not real sure what else to do with them (beyond forced retirement).

Obviously the default schedule length for that league is broken with the change but is there a way to fix that from here without having to restart my whole file?

Lastly, there is no option to adjust the date of posted players as I think it's hard-coded to happen on the same day the offseason begins. It isn't listed as an official League Event, so you can't change it from there either.
