Can't fire coach?

As title; my owner tells me there is no good reason to fire my coach. Being the GM and being in dead last for the 3rd year in a row should consitute a good reason. I don't understand why my owner will not let me fire my head coach? He does not have long left on his contrtact and I wish to hire another coach.

That's frustrated me too. Go into edit for the coach, and you can set him to free agency. Make sure you set his rights too
