Diamond Pack

Just completed future legends infielders on an alt team, 2 diamond pack reward. Does a perfect card count as a diamond? Just asking as I am stoked to get this card but was surprised there was not also a diamond in pack, sometimes gold packs have another gold, diamond or even a perfect but also a gold.

Epic pull. I pulled a ridiculous amount of packs when that dropped hoping to grab it.

Normally a perfect does not count as a diamond; however, the LIMITED EDITION Perfects drop in packs at the rate of a historical diamond - so I'm guessing it has some kind of 'diamond' tag on it, which is why it met the requirement for the diamond pack. Sweet luck, brother.

Yes, it was explained last year that LE perfects count the same as a diamond. I wonder if the OP can say what the backing of the card was before he revealed it. A diamond backing or a perfect backing?
