Live Player Ratings Update FAILED

Each time I start a new game ( did not select Challenge Mode), I go under game settings and try to update the player ratings based on live stats. I've never had this problem before, but this year it ALWAYS says "Update Failed" after I click the button. PLEASE HELP THIS IS DRIVING ME MAD !

Ive tried custom game and standard game. In custom game there is an option to update the ratings, but they are not the same as the ratings used in a live start game....

Hey Whompson77,

So we do have a fix to get you the live start ratings update for players and while this fix isn't easy it will get what you're looking to accomplish done while we see if there's an easier way for us to do this with our systems.

So the first thing we want to do is navigate to the main menu, go to settings, and on the settings tab go to troubleshooting and select Open Folder Containing OOTP Executable. That should take you to your OOTP 23 install folder and we want to go to data>live_start and inside of that folder we need to change the name of one of the zip folders. Preferably the chadwick_data_2022_11_30 if you have that one. We need to change the date at the end of that folder name to match the day's date you're doing this. That will make the game use that folder when updating live ratings and it won't give you any errors.

Make the change to the zip players will update correctly. You can use this fix for live start standard games and custom games where you update manually from the league settings page. Let me know if that helps you get that setup and if there are any issues.
