Service time limit/Age limit on Minors

Just curious as to which of these options (if any) people use on their minor leagues.

I'm a few years into a sim and have just gone through and done a clean up with a fine tooth comb through my minors, I'm looking for a way to somewhat streamline this process going forwards.

Which of the above do you use? What are the pros and cons of each?

I imagine it’s what you already do.
But, I just cull by age and minor league director suggestion if player should be promoted another level.

I do keep several older players just incase of injuries.

I use the full realistic system as much as OOTP will allow.

Do a search on past discussions. Lots of different ways people handle this.
