Long-time OOTP Franchise fan here! I’ve always been super into it and then I stumbled upon this new button on the front page called Perfect Team. And just like that, I was hooked. Actually, my journey started way back with FPS Baseball 94, which totally feels like the inspiration for OOTP. The similarities are wild—so many ideas seem straight out of that game.
Since I'm a huge fan of this franchise, I'm always up for sharing what I've learned and maybe even giving some tips on how to enjoy it even more.

We managed to avoid relegation just barely, finishing in 6th position from the bottom, with bottom four teams being relegated. Our lackluster performance can be attributed, in part, to the fact that we were unable to acquire any upgrades during the week. The card shop has become quite quiet recently, resulting in a decrease in the supply of cards.
To add on top of that, there is the insult of pulling only LIVE Diamonds and Perfects from packs, which are at this level completely unplayable. This feels especially frustrating when opening Diamond packs, it just feels like a completely too complex and cruel punishment, and only outcome when they happen to be duplicates is to Quick Sell … at least there is that. But it still stings.
There is kind of distaste growing towards anything related to LIVE cards, even the sight of the design becomes abhorrent, knowledge of it’s existence as statistics only a part of day you want done as fast as possible. It highlights a fundamental issue with gameplay balancing as those cards don’t seem to have any other purpose besides completing LIVE Missions, and then you can start a bonfire.
Final numbers are what they are, first couple of months it was bearably below .500 and then it went as it went. Team MVP honors went to SP again (RHP Smokey Joe Williams) as only bright spot at the end of the tunnel, and that was still with a negative combined result.
That’s a 2nd time in a row where Negro League player has been the most consistent performer, truly a great set. I want to see how Future Legends will fare in the “future”, there is more potential offensively but latest Build-a-Lineup additions might just snuff them out.
And that’s it, will do tomorrow some prep for next season, at least I got upgrade at C position - 100 Mike Napoli will be joining for season 2031.
