Total collapse. We've lost twenty and won five.
Any more injuries? Nope. We're just playing bad ball.
Are there any upsides? Well, there was one. Snagged a local 3B in a trade (11,9,11) who is above average for a local kid.
In addition, one of my star Bullpen guys wanted out, I was happy to oblige as I grabbed an equal replacement, and picked up a guy who was kicking around the reserves. Francisco Vasquez (17,12,14) can really throw some heat, and I've got him for two more years at 10 mil a pop. I got him from Sydney, where two years ago he went 19 and 6 with a 3.09 ERA. Not to shabby.
Has any of this helped the team? No not really. We're looking towards next year, with all our stars fit maybe we'll make an assault.
Around the league, the Tritons (Yes, I have decided they are a powerhouse) are finally picking up steam and are only .5 games behind Honolulu in the PL. They have some incredible depth with Foreign superstars and lots of local talent. Can they win again?
Superstar recruit Willi Friedman is hitting 179 in AA ball. Hmm.
