Another close loss. This just isn't gonna be our year. Valmeyer SP Mathew Sawyer scattered 10 hits over 8 innings for the win. He also had a key two-out 2-run single in the 4th. 1B Phil Nolan and 2B Cliff Beard had 3 hits apiece for us, but we couldn't get much done.
