2013 Player Player Analysis: Outfield

LF Jose Tabata Put up solid numbers with a final line of .279/.333/.385 he also had 5 HR 31 RBI and 51 RS. Tabata is locked up through 2017 with team options for 18 and 19. Jose is the kind of player I'd like to see at the top of the lineup and we're going to head into spring with Jose as the starter in left field.
LF Alex Presley Had 158 at bats last year with a line of .310/.347/.487. Not bad numbers by any means but he will have to battle Tabata for playing time and we will entertain offers if anyone should come calling for Presley.
CF Andrew McCutchen .309/.401/.508 23 HR 73 RBI 92 RS We have McCutchen locked up through 2018 to a team-friendly contract which is unquestionably the teams best asset at this point.
RF Felix Pie Performed poorly in 46 AB had a line of .152/.235/.174. He's up for arbitration and will most likely be non-tendered.
RF Starling Marte Was the leadoff man for most of the year and didn't have much to show for. Marte finished with a line of .224/.274/.359. He hit 9 HR and scored 69 Runs. Starling has never shown a propensity for getting on base and thus will not be looked at as a leadoff hitter in 2014 but there's still a lot of upside here and we look for him to continue to grow.
RF Travis Snider .254/.322/.444 11 HR 33 RBI. Snider put up decent power numbers over 232 AB. Many are still waiting for him to develop into the superstar that many envisioned he would be 5 years ago. He may never reach that point but I would still like to see what he could do with 450 AB
