I believe I fired my initial trainer after two years because of all of the pitching injuries. My goal when I started this team was to assemble a large group of Major League ready arms so I could pick who would anchor my staff and who I needed to trade off for younger players based on their individual performances....

1893 will mark the 10th year of this league. In my eyes, this is where it starts to get exciting because the first crop of potential hall of famers will be retiring.

I bring that up because I have made a concerted effort this season to try to trade for Cap Anson for one reason only. He needs to appear in at least one game this year to be eligible for the hall of fame, and the Colts have him languishing in AAA where he's hitting over .470.
