1906 Hall of Fame Voting

Here are the players appearing on the ballot for the first time:
John Clarkson played most of his career with Boston in the National League where he won 20 games in 1891. He finished with 124 career wins.

Hardie Henderson was an iron horse pitcher who made five All-Star appearances in his career. He finished with 240 wins and 259 losses.

Mickey Hughes led the league in wins twice. He finished with 205 career wins after his 13 year career with Detroit.

George Keefe was a career reliever who finished his career with 120 saves in 473 games. He also made 4 All-Star appearances.

Matt Kilroy was a three time 20 game winner for the Red Sox. He finished with 170 wins in 14 seasons.

Lefty Marr was a two time All-Star and a two-time Silver Slugger who finished with 1,344 career hits in his 15 years with the Cardinals.

Jocko Milligan led the league with over 20 home runs twice, and he was a six time All-Star at the catcher position.

Clarence Stephens was a career reliever with the Phillies who finished with 85 career saves in 521 career games.

Pat Whitaker was a career reliever with the Tigers who finished with 96 career saves in 360 career games.
Chicken Wolf was a four time All-Star who also won two Gold Gloves. He finished with 2,162 career hits spanning 19 seasons.
George Wood played in three All Star games and won two Silver Slugger awards before his production dropped off. He ended up with 1,510 career hits.

Mickey Welch was the only one who won induction in 1906. Will White failed to make induction for the 10th year, so he was removed from the ballot.
