Valmeyer snapped our win streak at 5. SP Kevin Mills threw 7 strong inning to pick up his 2nd win. LF Bill Young gave them the lead with a clutch two-out three-run bomb in the 5th. Our bullpen gave the game away in the 7th with three walks in the inning. We walked 7 in the game, which is a large part of why we lost.

Bunker Hill 8, Bethalto 5 (MEBL -- Low Minors)

We rallied late to win it for the second day in a row and extended our win streak to 5. C Jeffrey Lewis tied it with a one-out RBI double in the 8th and PH Daniel Hunter gave us the lead with a two-out RBI single. Leadoff hitter, 2B Barry Evans reached base 4 times (2 singles, a walk, and a ROE) for us and scored twice.
