1906 Hall of Fame Voting

Here are the players appearing on the ballot for the first time:

John Clarkson played most of his career with Boston in the National League where he won 20 games in 1891. He finished with 124 career wins.


Hardie Henderson was an iron horse pitcher who made five All-Star appearances in his career. He finished with 240 wins and 259 losses.

OOTP 19 interface screenshots - feedback wanted :)

I really like the new general aesthetic the only things that look weird to me are the indents (or cut ins) for the team logo and schedule at the top and the other thing are the stars they don't seem to fit the new theme with their shadows and pop out look.

Other than those two things I love the new look.

Offseason Banter

1905 was supposed to be a rebuilding year. The fact that I was still in the pennant race on the last game of the season was a huge win.

I'm surprised that Jake Beckley didn't retire. It's pretty obvious at this point that his only role on the team is as a left handed pinch hitter, though he may get a ceremonial start on opening day.

I traded away a few stalwarts in the offseason. Willie Keeler, Freddy Parent, and Tom Hughes were all sent packing for young prospects....

There were several players who made their first appearance on the Hall of Fame ballot in 1905.

Ed Beatin was a two-time 20-game winner who spent the bulk of his 12 year career in Brooklyn. He finished with 192 career wins.


Dan Brouthers was an 8-time All Star and a 6-time Silver Slugger at first base. He finished with 1,412 runs, 1,427 RBIs, and 2456...
