A.J. Pollock is out for the season (or, possibly, until the end of September), with a fractured elbow. He is listed in game as only being out for about a month with elbow ligament reconstruction surgery.

Bit of a minor one, but Alex Wilson (RP, Detroit) was not born in Hurricane, WV, but in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Surprised this got changed from 16 to 17.

In the Majors Quickstart, although the White Sox team history no longer indicates they made the playoffs in 2015, Robin Ventura's manager history indicates he did lead the team to the playoffs in 2015.

Tim Anderson suddenly appeared on my 40 man roster. Not really sure what prompted it.

Is there any quick way to undo this error or would I have to restart the game?

If I play as the Chicago Cubs, how can I adjust the 40 man roster so McKinney, Perez, Almora, and Macha are not on the 40 man roster? Thanks

In the exact same boat here with Tim Anderson and the White Sox. Are we just stuck with them on the 40 man roster? Can we somehow fix this in Commish mode? I think forcibly releasing the player and then just manually putting him back on the team is an option - but that's obviously far from ideal.

Not sure if this can possibly be addressed or has been looked into before. But the Josh Hamilton contract, it has the Rangers still paying the bulk of the contract. I believe they're only paying 2mil a year for the next few years? Not 100% sure on the details but I doubt it's possible to apply the rest of that salary to the Angels without making a "dummy" player.

Not sure if this is the right place but Kevin Kiermaier's 2015 WAR is listed as 1.9, should be around 6-7 depending on OOTP's formula. Have not noticed any other statistical errors. I'm playing on MLB quickstart.

I even exported rosters to text, but could not find the number that puts them on the 40 (if there even is one). You can stop AI roster moves and dfa your guy and then after he clears, allow moves again, but I am looking to make it official. It will still show that they have cleared waivers. This game is amazing by the way, I am very impressed.

Waive and Designate the player for assignment, this will get them off the 40 man roster. Then click on the player and (in Commish mode), click on the edit tab and about half of the way down on the left there is a spot to manually select the league and team you want to move the player. Select the league and team and press Apply and you are all set (see the screenshot in the link below)

Thanks for responding.

What would we do if the player is already on the correct team? Tim Anderson is on the Charlotte Knights, but listed on the 40 man roster for the White Sox. Would I essentially just be exposing him to waivers under these instructions? Would doing this impact his morale and growth as a player?

Sorry for all the questions. This game is awesome - but it makes me scared to hit buttons.

Don't apologize, that is what the Community is here for. :)

No, you would not really be exposing him to waivers since you would not be simming forward a day. When you DFA/Waive him, he will be removed from the roster. Then by editing him, you are taking him off waivers and putting him at Triple-A Charlotte. When you hit apply, he will be assigned to Charlotte and not on the 40 man roster anymore. I am 99% sure he won't be on waivers anymore, but just to make sure, go back to your DFA/Waivers screen to make sure that he is no longer on waivers after you move him.

PawSox 1976 issue

Not sure this is the right place, but...

In 1976 the Pawtucket Red Sox changed their name to the Rhode Island Red Sox for one year. When playing with coaches on, the game sort of treated it as a new team, firing all the existing coaches and manager and signing new ones. It didn't touch the rosters, that was alright, just the personnel got sacked.

I hate to be the guy that complains about a persons ratings, but the one I really am having a hard time with is Mike Leake. He has been an average to above average starter in really small offense friendly ballparks. Yet he's completely unusable in OOTP and with his contract as it is... it makes playing as the Cardinals very difficult.
