Ring Road is up 2-1 over a non-OL team in B218.


Brooklyn is down 2-3 to a non-OL team in I218.

All other OL teams are done in the playoffs.

An update on OL alumni Steelport Saints...they won their third diamond title tonight in a tough series against the Santa Ana Browns. They will get their third shot at perfect on Monday. The Saints are a lifetime 147-177 in two previous trips to the top league, and this is probably their last chance of legitimately having a shot at winning it before the FOTF toppers make the uberwhale teams impossible to displace.

Norwood Tops Palolo in G320 Series
 

The Diamonders won game six in 11 innings, capping a four game streak, to take the series four games to two. The Puppies grabbed the first two games on the road, but then lost three straight home games to set up Norwood's dramatic finish that saw Hans Wagner single home Cap Anson off Rollie Fingers with one out.



Brooklyn fell in the series in I218, 4-2.


Please make sure to check your friends list against the spreadsheet and don't forget to submit. There seems to be a fair bit of movement between leagues, so let's take care and not miss anybody.

Looks like all the OL teams from Iron to Diamond placed in the correct league (so huzzah for that).... only two teams at Stone level (each in a different league).


Silver league:

heavy presence in the NL East (4 OL team)... everyone else is spread out a bit, but all should meet the 10 game minimum

in case anyone missed the press release from the Waffletown dynasty thread.... the Syrups have been taken over by new ownership... while the historical focus will still remain for the roster, the ultra-old-timey restriction will be significantly loosened to allow for a more robust pool of potential players.... and the GM wasted no time in embracing that philosophy as he obtained FOTF Andre Dawson to join the squad.

hopefully the expanded pool of potential players will help Waffletown become more competitive at Gold tier and above.

Based on what I am seeing from your team, so far this season, I think the Haymakers may call for an emergency owners meeting to vote as to whether or not the League will allow you to do such a change.

wish I could say it was the addition of Dawson that spurred the team, but he's only batting .118 so far in 4 games, so we're winning *despite* the new arrival :laugh:

You don't have to make a new team if you don't want to. You can throw a team in that you made earlier, providing it is OL-compliant.

Just find the link to the spreadsheet of teams on the first page of this thread and put it as many teams as you like, provided they fit the ledague rules. Then fill up your friends list with the teams closest to your level and submit to the PT servers. You'll be in!. Welcome.

The Stars dominated Asylum in two series to jump out on top, in a month that saw a less than busy time in OL. Annadale remained on the sideline, but is scheduled for 20 or more games this year.

Hooterville and Waffletown set the early pace in OL play.

Shinbone and Cary are nearly deadlocked through two months, with only Weston Pointe seeming capable of mounting a challenge.

Tight race at the top with four teams within percentage points of the lead.

Bronze 297 Update
 

There are six -OL teams in Bronze 297 this week; four in the AC and two in the NC. The Rebels have built a nice lead, at 13-8, while the Boppers and Untouchables are still in the hunt, near .500. The Muse have had a tough start to the season, at 3-13.

In the NC, the Buffalo Soldiers and Devils haven't played many games yet. Both have more in the second part of the week.

There are also six BFF teams in Bronze .297. If I counted correctly, they are slightly ahead in direct match-ups, at 44-42 so far. The Fire Frogs have put them on top, by going 5-1 against the -OL.
