I have since completed FOTF and want to try these guys out. In Slots you can only play a limited number of Perfect cards. And, I don't have the Diamonds needed to compete.

OL B241 Impaled

Transylvania captures the B241 flag with ease, despite being chased by the Devils. Death Valley held the 5-2 head-to-head advantage over the Impalers, but that wasn't nearly enough to overtake them in the standings.

All the relevant data for the season is in the graphics. I will not see the playoff results until late tonight, so if anyone from Bronze would capture those, it would be appreciated.

Weston Pointe Streaks to OL G302 Crown

The Caspers cooked at a 7-2 pace to win the four team scramble in gold. Highland rolled to 12-5 mark, but fell a half-game short, while Waffletown won their last three, yet still ended up third. Only Jefferson Valley struggled, falling to fourth after a 3-6 month.

In PT play, forty percent of the OL teams will be relegated. The playoff tree is attached.

Ciudad Trujillo stumbled a bit down the stretch, going 2-5, but held on to capture the crown over idle Port Ruppert.

The playoff tree and relegation are attached.

Yes! This ranks somewhere between 2nd place in the 1976 Pinewood Derby and the birth of my first child.

Coney Island, returning to OL next week will in fact do so at the Gold level-Please re-add Edster007 to your friends list.

They made their first four changes in since June and pending the sale of a few players in the auction house could add one more.

Look back a page or two if you're interested in who else welcomed your team's return.

Once again, the Kansas Rangers remain unstoppable in Diamond OL play, winning convincingly over their rivals.

Hidden Valley and Norwood will shortly square off in one wildcard, while Laramie plays in the other. No one will be relegated.

I remember the Lenny’s Clam bar commercials they went big time and had Frank Sinatra Jr. in one of them. Gargiulo’s has been in Coney Island since 1907 with good Italian food and then there is Cuccio’s bakery-but no free glass of wine or Sinatra Jr. The thing I’m looking for here from back in those days is an authentic crumb bun. Nobody makes them anymore and if they claim they do its more like crumb cake. Even the NY Rangers retired the crumb bun award several years ago.

New team

Have thoroughly enjoyed OL so far - including my one title.

We’re adding a third team to the mix. The Flatbush Red Hooks, currently in Gold playoffs with a small chance of diamond promotion.

Friends lists updated

Looks like my current gold OL team (and past champion) is being relegated back to silver - so I’ll have two silver teams this year.

The Wrap Up

Congratulations to all the crown winners. Lets all be extra diligent with our friends lists and try to get everyone in. I'm going to check on the playoffs in a few minutes. Good luck to those in them.

Playoffs so far

As far as I can tell this is how it shapes up:

Diamond - no OL teams left, no teams relegated.
Gold 302 - no OL teams left, no teams promoted, Asylum, Brooklyn, Ewa Beach, Hartford back to silver.
Gold 317 - No OL teams in playoffs, El Dorado and Brooklyn Untouchables remaining in gold
Silver 324 - Bevo Mill tied at 1-1 in Conference Championship, Port Ruppert and Bevo Mill going up to gold
Bronze 241 - Death Valley tied at 1-1 in Conference Championship, Death Valley and Transylvania going up to silver, Otonokizaka and Sierra Vista going back to iron.
Iron 219 - Unfortunately, Chicago will be going back to stone, so they will again be a lonely outpost.
Iron 171 - No teams in playoffs, but Daytona, Cat Town, and Asheboro all remain in iron.

I will try to check back later for any OL world series winners. I guess there are only two left.

Please, let's try to correct our friends lists. If you are in iron, please friend Chicago in case I am incorrect about them going down. Also, let's make sure to grab all the teams at least one above and below, as well as at our level. I also make sure I fill my lists up to 30, even if I go more than one level away. Hopefully, we won't miss anyone. Remember that Palolo and Coney Island are coming back and that the Flatbush Red Hooks are joining in gold or diamond.

And don't forget to submit your changes.

OL Comes Up Short in PT Playoffs

Both Bevo Mill and Death Valley fell in their respective world series, with the Redbirds meeting a bitter end as they dropped three straight after grabbing a 3 to 1 lead, losing the final two at home. The Devils lost 4-1.

That wraps up 2051. Remember to check your friends list, maximize, and hit submit team.

Hurt so bad

Yes, and that loss hurt bad enough to prompt a name and identity change. Bevo Mill Redbirds are now the South Side Gooeys, named after the iconic St. Louis recipe. We had all the Cardinals except for FOTF Hornsby, and it was getting old already. Now we incorporate all St. Louis player cards, hopefully incorporating some Browns, and Cool Papa Bell and Willie Wells from the Stars, if we can get hold of them.

Same username.

My Illawarra Flame were all on their own in Stone this week, but finished with a 139-23 record and a World Series sweep, thanks mostly to getting the Yogi Berra mission and its prerequisites done.

We'll be moving up to Iron tomorrow which I'm sure will provide a bigger challenge - will be adding everyone today.
