Silver and Gold
2 Attachment(s)
We had a few misses, including long time OL member Transylvania. Don't see how that one happened. I've had that team on my three lists forever. I won't opine on how many games will be scheduled since that often changes by the time the first sim happens.

Bronze
1 Attachment(s)
Three of the seven teams are mine, so, obviously, I'll cover this one.
Sidenote: Ring Road not only joined their brother teams in Bronze, they have also joined them in divesting all SE cards. The Rams seem to have the best pack-luck, so hopefully their roster-rebuild will progress a little quicker than the White Stallions and Rock Piles. |
Cary Leads Four Way OL G358 Race

The Southpaws jumped out to the early lead. Though Jefferson Valley has yet to debut, a scan of the schedule shows that all teams have enough league games to qualify.

Vlora, K-Town on top early
2 Attachment(s)
Vlora on top by virtue of limited schedule. Ring Road will not have enough games to qualify for OL title this season.

K-Town no-hits non-OL league leader
1 Attachment(s)
OL and non-SE* K-Town's Ed Halicki threw a no-hitter against SE-loaded and NC Central leading Scott Township. Halicki walked 3 in the 2-0 win.
*non-SE from LIVE missions. K-Town does carry an SE card that came from a pack. |

Close race continues in OL B231
2 Attachment(s)
Ft. Huachuca and Vlora are tied for the top in a very tight race. Hooterville and Ring Road join the fray in today's sims. To clarify an earlier post, Hooterville and the rest of the league will have enough games to qualify for the title. Ring Road will not.

Quote:
The Warriors sold off all but one of their remaining cards and hit pay dirt selling Johnny Damon 99K because he is part of a FOTF mission. With the other 3 diamonds I sold I am just short of 160K. It will be time to hit the AH Sunday and find a way to generate a little more offense. |
K-Town edges in front in OL B231
2 Attachment(s)
K-Town has pushed into the lead by a slim margin over a surging Cochise County. The Sidewinders used a 4-game sweep of Vlora to slither into second place. The division rivals meet six more times this season.
Overall, the best team in all the land is Hooterville, currently 22 games over .500 and atop the AC Central. They are the only OL team in playoff contention. On the other end, it has been anything but Shangri-La for the Dragons, who carry the league's worst overall record and most certainly will be relegated at season's end. (Shangri-La appears to be unmanaged at the moment, with no LF in the lineup.) |
Guess who just pulled a perfect Yaz out of a pack?
ME! Finally got a perfect that isn't a 2020 card! |
Brooklyn Sweeps tp Front in OL S317

Cary Holds Slimmest of Leads in OL G358
4 Attachment(s)
The Southpaws own the top spot by .001, thanks in large part to their 3-0 record against second place Waffletown.

Vlora vaults to the top of OL B231
2 Attachment(s)
Vlora jumped to the top of the standings with a solid month of play. Only a 3-game sweep at the hands of Ft. Huachuca prevented the White Stallions from distancing themselves from second place K-Town.
Hooterville remains the only OL team in a playoff spot, though Cochise County has closed to within two games of the NC West lead. |
Waffletown Now Ahead in OL G358

The Syrups raced to the lead in what has become a three-way race with Brooklyn and Cary. Those further off the pace would need a near flawless final month to keep their dim hopes alive.

Terra Incognita put a small slice of daylight between themselves and their two main challenger - Brooklyn and Asylum.

K-Town builds a lead in B231
4 Attachment(s)
K-Town holds a 4-game lead over second place Vlora, but there is a lot of action still remaining in OL B231. The club with the best chance of overtaking the Rock Piles might also be one of the most overlooked, as it currently sits mid-pack. That's the team from Hooterville. If the Haymakers can manage to sweep their 3-game set with Ft. Huachuca, they would take a commanding percentage points lead. The two teams have not met yet this season, but the Haymakers are the AC's best team, while the Buffalo Soldiers sit last in the NC Central.
K-Town holds a unique position -- leading the OL; 3 games out of a relegation spot; 1 game from leading their division. |
