That seems to be an older Arlington stadium than the one I based my model off of

Are you able to take existing models that you've built previously, then alter them to create other stadiums? Or, is every stadium built from scratch...

Oh, BTW. Hope you enjoyed your honeymoon.

I'm building from scratch. Even though many cookie cutter stadiums are similar, it would be too much of a pain to undo and redo an existing one.

I like the practice anyway. :)

First off thanks again for all you've done and continue to provide for us.

Sorry if this has been asked before. How difficult is it to change just the the field? For example, changing candlestick park and busch II to the artificial surface with the sliding pits of the 1970's rather than the dirt infield.

That is easy. I can whip that up in 15 minutes.

If I change the candlestick park infield, I'd like to at least change the fence too. I believe at that time the fence was actually like the chain link variety than the padded wall, correct?

Just an FYI. Candlestick was one where I took an existing model from the 3D warehouse. Shouldn't be too much trouble either way since I put my own infield on the original one. Just swap it out and change the fence. Looks like I'll have to remove the bleachers in left center as well. Not a big deal

I'm cool with just the infield being swapped- same with Busch 2 if possible - but that change would really make Candlestick authentic. Thanks again!!

I hear ya. Just give me a little bit more time. I really want to focus on getting one version of the stadiums in my first post first, then I plan to open it up to older parks and also different eras of the same park.

I'd like to keep to the schedule for now and like to hold the requests for later.

Thanks

Or course, that goes without saying. Thanks again for all that you have done for us and for making a great game even better! :)

Does anybody here know anything about webp. files? I'm trying to use the Fenway model that came with the game to create different versions of Fenway Park from different eras.

Do they have an alpha channel? I am trying to eliminate the monster seats but the crowds are still placed there... There are also black holes from where the stands existed over the wall

Not sure about that, but I may work on an 80's Fenway with the screen on the monster at some point

On my first post I have the download link and the list of completed and planned stadiums. Anaheim stadium from the 80's is on there

Ah... OK. I was trying to lighten the load for you. Wanted to do a 34-46 with the orginal ads on the wall, then a 60s-70s version with the electronic scoreboard on the wall, then the 80s- "until they ruined it" version

Well, I posted my first attempt a few posts back, but you'll see what the problems with it were. You see the stands still hovering over the wall. In the daytime, you see black holes. So, there's got to be some sort of a Matte channel to map the textures somewhere...
