Bill Gleason
 

SABR's Cliff Blau gave me the tip that William J. "Bill" Gleason should qualify for the Sharman Society, as catcher Gleason joined the Pittsburgh Pirates in August of 1920, but never played in a regular season major league game.

The photo shows Gleason with the Foundation Shipyard baseball team of the Columbia-Willamette Shipbuilders' Baseball League in Oregon. The photo is from the Oregon Journal (Portland) of March 31, 1918.

Baseball-reference.com mixes up Gleason's record over that of a several players, and they should be combined:
