BNN Report News from the CBO, Minors, BCAC, and CYL by Nat Wright-Kawolski 27 February 2310 Nuka Cup Tournament Begins The 2310 Nuka Cup Tournament begins today with a lot of games on the slate. We will be releasing reports on the tournament as we move through the rounds. All regional hosts have a bye to start the double-elimination tournaments. Below are the schedules for the first round: [U]Nordhagen Beach Regional #5 Fort Hagen vs #4 Spectacle Island #6 FHE vs #3 Sunshine Tidings #7 Cambridge vs #2 Quincy Egret Regional #5 Goodneighbor vs #4 The Slog #6 Concord vs #3 Roxbury #7 Southie vs #2 Starlight University Point Regional #5 Atom vs #4 Nahant #6 Lexington vs #3 Jamaica Plain #7 Glowing Sea vs #2 County Crossing Bunker Hill Regional #5 Easy Town vs #4 Vault 81 #6 Diamond City vs #3 Salem #7 Malden vs #2 Oberland CBO Schedule The regular season schedule was also released today with a major change in the format of no more Mondays and Thursdays off for the majority of the season. Teams will play 130 games beginning on April 4 and concluding on August 28. Before we highlight parts of the regular season schedule, there was one interesting change to the postseason format. In addition to six teams in each association with the league winners getting byes in the Wildcard Round, there is no longer a guarantee that two teams per league make the playoffs. Now, the 1st-place teams are in and the four wildcard spots are determined by the next four records in the association. Now to a look at the schedule. The defending champions, the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys, begin the season hosting Nahant in a two-game set. They finish the first week with a two-game home series against Salem and a three-game weekend trip to Easy Town. The Cambridge Coursers begin their season with a two-game home series versus Sunshine Tidings. Southie also begins opening day at home when they host Quincy. Glowing Sea begins their first series on the road at Oberland but then plays at home for the first time on April 6 against Vault 81. Malden has the latest start date for their home schedule. The Grognaks open at the Witch Hats and play their first four series on the road. After their first off day on April 14, the Grognaks make their home debut on April 15 against the Gunners. |

Last season, the Beantown Sprouts defeated the Taunton Giants, 3 games to 1, to win the Commonwealth Youth Series. This season, both the Sprouts and Giants are considered to be in contention. In the North Region, Beantown is expected to battle the Castle Freedom and Hester Mechanists for the best record. In the South Region, Taunton is predicted to finish only one game back of fellow Samuel Morse Division mate, the Wareham Comets, for the best regional record. The Spectacle Island Specters are picked to have the third best record. For best hitters, junior Marlborough Minigunners RF Riot Darton is expected to be the NR's winner. Other contenders include RF Naga Arakaki, Sr, Concord Iceboys; 1B Munson Morales, Fr, Saugus Launchers; and 1B Jimmy-James Sessoms, Jr, Marlborough. You're probably aware, but there's a really good pack somewhere on this forum of like over 1000 logos, mostly for the default generic names OOTP will rename teams to from automatic league evolution. Granted, those aren't very Fallout-esque, but with the sheer volume of art done in a style designed to keep it simple, you might find at least one or two things you can use to some degree or another. |

Those are quite amazing. I personally have only experimented with deep dream, which is a different sort of art output. TBH deep dream is probably the bargain bin AI in terms of options, but generally for what I want it works, but it does have some critical flaws that don't appear to be going away any time soon.

The Slog is an interesting team to look at, especially with their success in the Nuka Cup. The past two seasons have seen the Ghouls finish 61-59 but miss the playoffs for the ninth-straight season. This season, the team's success begins with their big three of infield youngsters: 1B Kilometers Davis, 3B Plain Morris, and SS Gavin Deux-Gas. Morris was the 2307 NCA Red Rocket Rookie Award winner, Deux-Gas finished third in voting in 2308, and Davis won it last year. In six professional seasons combined, all three have been highly successful and efficient. Morris began as a supplemental rookie free agent pick up before the 2303 season. As a reminder, he was one of multiple players who did not declare for the 2302 Rookie Draft but was allowed to join the CBO due to a shortage of young players available at the time. In three seasons, Morris has batted .278/103/269. For Deux-Gas, he was the 2nd-overall pick out of Wattz in the 2306 draft. He played just one year of minor league ball before joining the Ghouls at the start of the 2308 season. In two seasons, he has a .303/45/122 line. Davis took a few years to bloom though he was usually in the Top 100 Prospects list. He was drafted 4th overall out of Avon, now known as the Brockton Claws, by The Slog. However, he was involved in a trade with Vault 81 that brought the Ghouls pitchers Kyle Gunnels and Tallahassee Gowner. He then was trade back to The Slog that also brought SP Flirt Perez to send star CF Stu Gains to the Dwellers. While Davis struggled his first few years in the minors, he finally hit his potential in 2308 with the BMU's Mass Pike Radroaches where he hit .371/40/103 in just 86 games. He was called up last season to the CBO squad where he hit .299/33/90. While the Big Three are featured, the entire lineup is good overall. Veteran C Silvam Fourteen is expected to bat 8th, which would make him one of the CBO's best after batting .290/14/58 in 2309. Veterans LF Judas Stoner (.238/22/65), LF Boots Yellowhair (.268/11/39), and 2B Elton Goodspeed (.273/1/29/15 SB) return. Two youngsters in RF Cypher Raige (.297/7/27 in 31 games) and CF Bill Lazarus (.298/0/9 in 48 games) expect to make bigger impacts as starters in 2310. The Slog also added some contributors in 3B Aaron Sinn (.267/12/54 with Nordhagen Beach), SP Austen Austin (8-1, 1.40 in 25 games with one start for the Party Boys), RP Cole Kilcoin (1-0, 5.09 in 13 games with Quincy), and RP Mike Strong (5-4. 16 SV, 2.32 with Eden Meadows of the Vim! League). Pitching may not be the strong suit, but the Ghouls are not bad, especially in their starting four. SP Tiger Fanne (10-10, 4.43), the 6th overall pick in the 2301 draft, is expected to be the staff ace. SP Isaiah Swindler (10-13, 4.10), SP Perez (13-8, 3.29, 1 SV), and SP Austin are the other starters. Crisco Caristo (6-3, 9 SV, 3.28 with Roxbury and The Slog) is expected to move into the closer role now that Bill Satterfield (3-8, 31 SV, 4.61) is closing for the Rad Sox. |

But the problem I was thinking of is it has real trouble making vehicles, though now that you mention fingers, it's way better at vehicles than fingers. I originally wanted to make some space scenes with space ships and it looks like something out of a drug fueled nightmare. Just asking for like, a nebula, or a planet though and it does fine. Just don't ask for any ships... or cars.... or boats... |

BNN Report News from the CBO, Minors, BCAC, and CYL by Nat Wright-Kawolski 4 April 2310 The April Super Post CBO Predictions The 2310 season begins today. As always, our trusty assaultron PAM delivers her analytics of how the 2310 season may shake out. Granted, there is a larger "fog of war" with the addition of four new teams, each of which that have been more than willing to trade away currently serviceable CBO players for future prospects in the months leading up to their first season. In other words, do not expect competitive teams from the expansion teams for several years to come. With that stated, let us take a look at which teams PAM sees to be the contenders. In the Brotherhood League, PAM has the defending champion Nordhagen Beach Party Boys returning to the top in 2310 with the league title and the NCA's top record at 83-47. Other playoff contenders in the BL are County Crossing, The Slog, Easy Town, and Salem. The Bloodbugs are picked to finish just two back and have the NCA's second-best record. In the Institute League, PAM sees Bunker Hill taking the league in a tight race, just two games up on Starlight and Sunshine Tidings, in what looks to be a repeat of recent years for good versus bad. None of the other four teams are expected to be contenders, and the Cambridge Coursers are predicted to lose 98 games. In the Minutemen League, University Point is expected to run away with the league title yet again with an 11-game advantage over second-place Spectacle Island. Other playoff contenders are Quincy and Jamaica Plain. The Southie Brews are picked to have the CBO's worst record at 29-101. In the Railroad League, the Vault 81 Dwellers are the pick to also win their league by 11 games. Other teams in the playoff hunt are Egret, Oberland, and Roxbury. In a surprise pick perhaps, the Glowing Sea Radscorpions are picked 6th in the league with FHE picked 7th. This comes after the Yao Guai made a surprising trade of their ace pitcher, Paul Stains, to Diamond City, which is also not considered in contention despite having two of the CBO's top starters in Stains and Sheng Kawolski. Top awards pick winners look familiar. For hitters, County Crossing's RF Babs Rooth is the pick to win the NCA Nuka Hitter Award. Other top contenders include Salem's RF Brian DeLong, Lexington's LF Family Sam Partridge, Malden's 1B Andy Stamey, and Easy Town's newly-acquired RF Baktu DaWell. In the SCA, 1B Barker Cocoa is expected to win his seventh SCA Nuka Hitter Award in the past eight seasons. Other top contenders in the SCA include CF Missile Crews of Goodneighbor, the Deathclaws' LF Chris Hirshfield, Vault 81's CF Stu Gains, and Jamaica Plain's LF Ken Debate. For pitchers, PAM has Digger Vadim of Starlight winning the NCA Vim! Pitcher Award in 2310. Other top contenders include eight-time winner SP Beachboy Nut of Nordhagen Beach, County Crossing's SP Gavin Eviritts, the Party Boys' SP Ugio Church, and Concord's SP Leyden Aigg. In the SCA, PAM predicts Roxbury's SP Nuke Laloosh to return to the top for the third-straight year and sixth overall. Other top contenders include Diamond City's newly-acquired SP Paul Stains, Vault 81's SP Scruffy Taguchi, Goodneighbor's SP Heaven Fontenot, and Oberland's SP Emperry Alizm. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...1&d=1718281189 Prospects to Watch The 2310 Top Prospects List has been published in anticipation of the 2310 season. 1B Cy Sutcliff, the 2308 1st-overall pick, was named the #1 prospect. He is one of just five of the top 10 starting the season in the minors. That means there are several contenders for the 2310 Red Rocket Rookie Award. Let's take a look at some of the top players beginning the 2310 season with the CBO club. The #2 prospect is 1B Hax Kim of Vault 81. The 198th overall pick (9th round) in the 2305 Rookie Draft, Kim made a huge leap in 2309 when he batted .343/31/79 in 73 games with the Dwellers' BMU squad, the Covenant Refractors. Kim is expected to start at 1B and bat 7th in the Dwellers lineup. The #7 prospect, selected 7th overall in the 2309 Rookie Draft, is SP Sham Killarney of Southie. Though he will struggle to win games in 2310, Killarney is expected to learn by fire with the expansion club. Last season with Sudbury of the CYL, Killarney was 5-5 with a 2.85 ERA. He is expected to start in the bullpen in 2310 but could work his way into a start or two early in the season. SP Ma'Khail Redstick of Egret, the 10th overall pick in 2306, is the #8 prospect. Like Killarney and the other prospect pitchers mentioned below, Redstick is expected to start in the bullpen in 2310. In four seasons in the minors, Redstick has shown the ability to strike out a lot of batters. He finished 2309 with the Brookline Bandoliers of the MML where in six starts he was 4-1 with a 3.69 ERA and struck out 42 in 39.0 innings. #9 is Sarthis Idren of Fort Hagen. Idren was the Silver Shroud's 4th-overall pick out of Harwich in 2307. He played with the Shroud's GBRL team, the Pioneer Park Hackers, where he compiled a record of 23-13 with a 3.65 ERA in 45 starts. 1B Tray Morgueman of Jamaica Plain is the 10th-ranked prospect and also with the CBO club. Morgueman is expected to start at 3B in 2310 and bat 8th in the Red Rockets' lineup. The 16th-overall pick by Spectacle Island in the 2307 Draft, Morgueman was a part of the deal that sent star C Ayag Mour to the Reapers. Morgueman has shown lots of potential, including playing most of 2309 with the GBRL's Greentop Nursery Night People where he hit .310/24/71 in 74 games. The complete list is below. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...1&d=1718281262 Early Draft Pool Top Players There was somewhat of a shortage of players eligible in the 2309 Rookie Draft, leaving few undrafted rookie free agents overall. Some CBO teams are still trying to fill out those roster spots as we begin the 2310 season. For those eligible for the 2310 Draft, there are 961 eligible players, and a lot of talent this year and next. In other words, the expansion teams have chances to pick up a few good players that they can use or trade for decent players. With that stated, we will take a quick stab at a few draft-eligible players to continue watching leading up to the draft. CF Packs Ton Kling, West Quincy - Kling is a great defensive outfielder and projects as a top glove in CF. He is great at making contact with the ball and shows some potential for being a heavy hitter, too, though he will probably be a top-of-the-lineup prospect for the CBO. RF Naga Arakaki, Concord - Arakaki has a strong personality and all the tools to be a great hitter. He could turn into a HR leader in the CBO once his body fills out more in his 6'4" frame. CF Jay Gabby, Wellfleet - Gabby lacks in speed compared to many top outfielders, so he is likely to move to a corner OF position in the CBO. He shows a tremendous knack for finding his pitches and driving them to a gap or over the fence. Gabby projects to be a mid-lineup player for a CBO team. SP/LF Alchemist Hall, New Bedford - A two-way player, Hall's greatest asset may be at pitcher though he will need to better develop his circle change before he will be a top pitching prospect. Hall's bat is pretty good as a contact hitter, and he will probably bat around .333 in his senior season. SP Tarzan Rogers, Sandwich - A really good prospect, Rogers struggled a little in 2309 when he tried to expand upon his pitching regimen. This season, Rogers is expected to have realized some of that potential, making him a probable 1st-round pitcher pick in the 2310 Draft. CYL Analysis The 2310 season is still early as we enter the second month, and it is showing a lot of competition for the 24 playoff spots. Divisional leaders are listed below: Franklin - Sudbury Celebs Emerson - Lexington Minuteboys Fuller - South Charles Bank Moonies Revere - Woburn Diners Adams - Hope Firestarters Alcott - West Quincy Atomatoys Morse - Brockton Claws Attucks - Truro Hatchlings https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...1&d=1718281189 CYL Players of the Month NR Hitter - Rockport Seafarers fans believe they've got a talented young star in Johan Honus. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in March, as he hit .390 with 8 home runs, 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the North Region Batter of the Month. SR Hitter - Not known for his offensive prowess, Bubbler Mayhem set the league afire in March and took home the South Region Batter of the Month award. The Brown left fielder posted a steady .397 batting average, 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs. NR Pitcher - Like father, like son. Marlin Samm is the latest North Region Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Diamond City freshman starter shone on the hill in his debut season repeatedly last month and finished March with a sparkling 4-0 record. In 4 starts he tossed 31 innings, posted 32 strikeouts, and put up a 0.58 ERA. SR Pitcher - Herbie Popnecker of the New Bedford Whales strung a bunch of high-quality starts together in March to earn the South Region Pitcher of the Month trophy. For the month he finished with a superlative 4 wins and no losses and a 1.41 ERA. The New Bedford star started 4 games, pitched 32 innings and struck out 20. |
Predictions look on like more of the same... I guess it might be the case expansion didn't shake things up as much as we hope when all is said and done... but also I think we'll be in store for a surprise or two...

I'm struggling with a few things for my dynasty right now and wonder how I should approach it. You see, when I do my daily four-dice rolls, there are 25 possibilities, two of which are either the max event (three 1's and another number) and supermax event (all 1's). Earlier in the dynasty, this would prompt me to create a storyline. However, due to other events in the past, well, almost two years, I feel that I either move the dynasty on or get stuck on creating/continuing a storyline. When there were big gaps in my post, it was always because I needed to create a storyline and then write the narratives related to that storyline. Due to my life being consumed by being busy as an employee and full-time doctoral student, writing narratives are a bit tougher than just recording and reporting events from the baseball side. I looked at my narratives page and there were a lot of open-ended storyline. Recently, I have just been doing something simple like changing a stadium name or reshuffling minor affiliates when rolling "events." If I cannot spend the time writing stories (already lost the Vegas connections storyline since I am past time) currently until I have my time back from completing my degree--goal May 2025!!!--some of my plans for this dynasty have to be tabled. I have ideas, like chronicles reported on after the fact, but it bothers me as a reader and a writer not to have continuity. Anyway, I am thinking of what I can do in the meantime for my max/supermax event rolls. Constantly changing stadium names or making plans to reshuffle minor affiliations is not working, so what else can I do in its place? For reference, the other possibilities are trade, plus stats (ratings), minus stats (ratings), negative incidents, and creature attack. Any of my readers out there have an idea for a 6th possibility? Or something in the events realm that could be "quick"? I am open to ideas! Now, back to the predictions. I am actually surprised all four expansion teams did not get predicted to lose 100 games. While they picked up some serviceable veterans in the expansion draft, teams keep fleecing the expansion teams by trading OK prospects for those veterans that could help them go around 50-80. I have tried to balance that by giving an immediate boost in ratings to the players traded for, but it has driven me crazy that the expansion teams are giving away decent players they attained before they even played a game for that franchise. |

BNN Report News from the CBO, Minors, BCAC, and CYL by Nat Wright-Kawolski 11 April 2310 CBO Analysis Now that the CBO has changed to a 28-team, 130-game schedule, the structure of the schedule is much different. No longer do all teams play one another, for one. Also, the usual Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday structure with Mondays and Thursdays mostly off is done. Now teams will play more games on average per week, which could mean games every day. That is how our first week of the season looks with every team playing seven games in the first seven games of the season. Let's take a look at our first Power Rankings and then break down how teams looked in the first week of the season. Here are the current team power rankings for the Commonwealth Baseball Organization: Teams (Total Points, Tendency): 1) Salem Witch Hats (133.6, ++) 2) Spectacle Island Reapers (133.6, ++) 3) Quincy Gunners (130.6, ++) 4) Vault 81 Dwellers (130.6, ++) 5) County Crossing Bloodbugs (129.6, o) 6) Goodneighbor Hancocks (106.9, ++) 7) Nordhagen Beach Party Boys (105.9, ++) 8) Diamond City Swatters (104.9, -) 9) Fort Hagen Silver Shroud (104.9, +) 10) Lexington Synths (104.9, ++) 11) Oberland T-51s (104.9, ++) 12) Sunshine Tidings Chemists (104.9, ++) 13) The Slog Ghouls (104.9, ++) 14) Cambridge Coursers (102.9, --) 15) Concord Radstags (102.9, --) 16) Egret Ninjas (102.9, --) 17) Roxbury Rad Sox (102.9, ++) 18) Nahant Celtics (78.1, -) 19) Starlight Killers (78.1, ++) 20) Glowing Sea Radscorpions (77.1, --) 21) Jamaica Plain Red Rockets (77.1, --) 22) FHE Yao Guai (75.1, --) 23) University Point Deathclaws (75.1, ++) 24) Atom Cats (46.4, --) 25) Easy Town Assaultrons (46.4, --) 26) Bunker Hill 75ers (18.7, --) 27) Malden Grognaks (18.7, --) 28) Southie Brews (15.7, --) The biggest surprises in the Top 10 in the first week include Fort Hagen and Lexington being there. In the Bottom 5, Easy Town and Bunker Hill are big surprises. Overall, five teams are tied for the best record at 5-2. Salem jumped to the top spot thanks to winning two straight over County Crossing, which was the last unbeaten team until that time. The Reapers also won their last two games to place them in the top spot. Another pleasant surprise is that Cambridge is in a five-way tie for 1st place in the Institute League. The Coursers split with Sunshine Tidings, swept Easy Town, and then won one of three against Lexington to stand at 4-3 in their first week of existence. With 18 runs allowed in seven games, Cambridge is tied for 1st in the NCA with the Bloodbugs. Bunker Hill, PAM's prediction to win the IL, is tied with Malden and Southie for the CBO's worst record. The 75ers are cold to start the season, with only ace SP Jason Tonelli (1-0, 3.38) pitching decently in the starting rotation and a CBO-low two home runs. CBO Standings https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...1&d=1718327792 CBO Players of the Week Before we move on to the CBO Players of the Week, one player who stood out but did not get voted the player of the week is SP Pokey Chatman of Salem. The former 12th-overall pick in the 2305 draft out of Pawtucket, Chatman dominated in the GBRL for three years, compiling a 39-11 record with a 3.22 ERA in 67 starts. That included 535 strikeouts in 514.1 innings pitched. Last season, he made the leap to the Witch Hats where he pitched 64.2 innings with a 2-1 record and 2.51 in 40 relief appearances and an All-Star selection. This season, he moved into the starting rotation. In two starts, he has had the best two starts in CBO history. Chatman has thrown two complete-game shutouts, pitching 18.0 innings with eight hits allowed, six walks, and 16 strikeouts. April 11 - It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Grandson Quarles, the Nahant Celtics 23-year-old center fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for North Charles Association Player of the Week honors. He ripped 16 hits in 28 at-bats, compiling a .571 average with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs. One of the league's most exciting young players, Hax Kim of the Vault 81 Dwellers earned himself South Charles Association Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old first baseman had a lofty .417 average (10-for-24), collecting 6 home runs, 15 RBIs and 9 runs scored. BCAC Predictions The BCAC began its third season and first as a 10-team conference this week. While there have been a few fast starts in the first four games, let's take a look at PAM's predictions for the season. First of all, PAM's prediction for the College Series is the Harvard Crimson versus the Commonwealth Terriers. Both teams are expected to win their divisions by six games in the 80-game season. Top hitter contenders are RF Dexion Evicus, Fr, CIT; C Harvey Aard, Fr, Commonwealth; 1B Bill Duggle, So, Boston College; and LF Cray Cris Arcos, Fr, Winchester. Contenders for top pitcher are SP Freon McMahan, So, Mass Bay; SP Cutter Redman, So, Tufts; SP Silk Suliban, So, Commowealh; and SP Frank Heart, So, Mass Bay. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...1&d=1718327792 |

BNN Report News from the CBO, Minors, BCAC, and CYL by Nat Wright-Kawolski 18 April 2310 CBO Analysis Two weeks down, 10% of the season done, and we have questions, not answers. Some of those questions include if there are changes of the guards throughout the CBO. Of course, there are teams that are notorious for slow starts and fast finishes. We're looking at you, University Point. And what is going on with the 75ers? They are tied with Atom, Glowing Sea, and Malden with the CBO's worst record of 3-10, which means all four are on pace for a 30-100 finish. Let's take a look at the Power Rankings. Here are the current team power rankings for Commonwealth Baseball Organization: Teams (Total Points, Tendency): 1) Egret Ninjas (152.5, ++) 2) Sunshine Tidings Chemists (132.6, ++) 3) The Slog Ghouls (132.6, ++) 4) Oberland T-51s (130.6, ++) 5) Quincy Gunners (129.6, -) 6) Vault 81 Dwellers (125.6, -) 7) Concord Radstags (116.8, ++) 8) Nordhagen Beach Party Boys (114.8, -) 9) Spectacle Island Reapers (110.8, --) 10) County Crossing Bloodbugs (109.8, --) 11) Roxbury Rad Sox (100.9, ++) 12) Nahant Celtics (99.9, ++) 13) FHE Yao Guai (97.9, ++) 14) Salem Witch Hats (97.9, --) 15) Goodneighbor Hancocks (84.1, --) 16) Jamaica Plain Red Rockets (82.1, ++) 17) University Point Deathclaws (82.1, ++) 18) Lexington Synths (81.1, --) 19) Cambridge Coursers (80.1, --) 20) Fort Hagen Silver Shroud (78.1, --) 21) Easy Town Assaultrons (68.2, ++) 22) Starlight Killers (68.2, --) 23) Diamond City Swatters (61.2, --) 24) Southie Brews (50.4, ++) 25) Malden Grognaks (36.5, +) 26) Bunker Hill 75ers (34.5, o) 27) Atom Cats (31.5, --) 28) Glowing Sea Radscorpions (31.5, --) With the CBO's best record, Egret is atop the mountain, getting it down by being 3rd in the SCA in runs scored (78) and 1st in runs allowed (44), The Slog and Sunshine Tidings are tied atop the NCA standings, giving us an interesting perspective of what may be in their divisions. The Brotherhood and Railroad leagues both have five teams above .500 early on, while the Institute and Minutmen leagues only have two. Brotherhood League With four wildcards spots up for grabs, we are going to call it right now that the BL will get at least three and maybe all four of those spots. If the playoffs started today, the three number would be true with one of Salem or Nahant at 7-6 out. While the Ghouls have an early lead in the BL, the defending champion Party Boys are just a game back and that's with ace SP Beachboy Nut (1-1, 4.05) rating as the worst of the CBO's best starting rotation: 1st in runs allowed at 37 and Starters ERA at 2.70. Deedee Martinson (3-0, 1.16), Ugio Church (2-1, 2.10), and Tommy Beach (1-1, 1.80) have all pitched well in each start but need more run support. The middle of Nordhagen Beach's lineup--LF Young Goodman (.356/3/8), RF Jonathan Angelou (.271/5/10), and 1B Mountainside Rockhand (.333/4/9)--are the only productive parts of the team currently 7th in the NCA in runs scored (54). The Boys are 7-0 when scoring four runs or more, and just 1-5 when scoring fewer than four runs (yesterday's 2-1 victory over Spectacle Island). Institute League While we have certainties that the good squads in the BL will remain good, we have no clue how to predict some of the topsy-turviness of the IL. Sunshine Tidings is a top the league, but Concord, which finished 42-78 last season and has not had a winning season since 2305, is the only other team with a winning record. Starlight and Bunker Hill make up the last two spots in the standings. We have mentioned the 75ers a lot, champions of the CBO two seasons ago and a team that reached the NCACS last season. Let's break them down for a moment. First of all, the 75ers acquired RF Deerlord Fugivmee during the season after he was ricked by injuries in 2309 with Roxbury (.273/6/30). Due to a significant head injury, he will not be eligible to play until next week, which could start to change Bunker Hill's fortunes. As of now, the 75ers are tied for 11th in the NCA in runs scored (39) and 13th in runs allowed (65). The only unit with any redeeming qualities right now is the bullpen with the 6th-best ERA (3.07). CL Jim Livermore (1 SV, 0.00) has only had one save opportunity in 13 games. RP Danny Rocketman (0-0, 1.69) and RP Ghost Kyudalson (0-0, 1.23) have been getting the majority of the bullpen work. Minutemen League Only Quincy and Spectacle Island are above .500 in the ML with Goodneighbor, Jamaica Plain, and University Point all sitting just one game under. There is a lot that can happen in the league between now and the end of the season, and we are willing to bet that the Deathclaws do their usual thing and start winning at extreme rates. However, there may be questions about the Claws' ability to match their record-setting offense of 2309. They are also experiencing the injury bug early with RF Tomas Jones (.463/5/11) again struggling to get on the field and 3B Nate Tivity (.125/0/2) out for an extended amount of time. Neither will be back before the end of the month. The Gunners are currently in first place despite one unit, their starting pitching (12th in ERA at 5.57), struggling. The offense is University Polnt-like, currently 1st in runs scored (80), while they are 8th in runs allowed (60), The ERA looks terrible, but it could be that 4th starter Good Company Schiller (1-2, 10.67) should not be pitching as a starter. Ace SP Lyle Pine is 3-0 with a 2.70 ERA. In the lineup, six players already have three or more home runs for the best power-hitting team (26 HR). 3B Ben Pettinato (.280/5/9) leads the team in homers, while LF Hondo Ohnaka (.312/3/14) and rookie 1B Gladder Questseeker (.333/3/9) have been the most productive. Railroad League While Egret is atop the CBO, Vault 81 and Oberland are both tied for the CBO's second-best record at 9-4. While we still consider Roxbury to be a good and dangerous team, the Rad Sox have missed the playoffs the past two seasons and are currently tied for 4th with FHE at 7-6. For the Ninjas, they have been looked good for all their units. They are 3rd in runs scored (78) and 1st in runs allowed (44). Their Starters ERA is 2nd (3.14) and Bullpen ERA is 6th (2.89). Ace SP Tup Mallory (2-0, 1.85) has been dominant so far, and CL Mike Pond (5 SV, 1.35) is tied for second in saves. The only person in the lineup struggling right now is their third hitter 1B/OF Long Hall (.158/1/7). While Egret is not a power-hitting team (tied for 7th with 14), they do have some guys, including RF Rick Pickle (.320/3/8) and 2B Justin Tootles (.312/3/10) who can hit for power and average. CBO Standings https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...1&d=1718375473 CBO Players of the Week April 18 - His solid numbers speak for themselves. That's why Gavin Deux-Gas of the The Slog Ghouls was named the North Charles Association Player of the Week. For the week Deux-Gas batted .481 (13-for-27) with 5 home runs and 12 RBIs. Jackie Shepherd went on a week-long hitting streak against South Charles Association pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Southie first baseman battered the opposition for 12 hits, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 7 runs. He hit .429 and posted a .429 on-base percentage.
