I don't believe that the pinstripes Jack Hendricks is wearing in the 1923 photo on the previous page are a legitimate Indianapolis uniform style. That photo is from the Reds' 1923 spring training camp and I have photos of Reds players wearing the same style (it's a logo-less top) during camp. The hat was different than any of the other Indianapolis hats I've seen from the era, though, so I thought I'd throw it in.

By request, pictured in 1898, with the 1899 Kansas City Blues and 1900 Omaha Omahogs.

The ID on the 1900 Omaha image is questionable, in my opinion.

I'd like to continue my requests for good uniform photos of the early Eastern/International League. Buffalo (1910-1940s) and Baltimore. 1 per decade unless you have any interesting examples mixed in. Thank you!

I know its a longshot, but does anybody have a decent sized picture of David McKlewhite?

Baseball Reference David McKlewhite

AKA Billy Micklewhite (and many combinations thereof). He played a handful of games for the Greenville Mets in 1965, but he was a softball legend in the Bahamas. He passed away earlier this year and I'd really like to do a tribute card for him. Even wrote to some papers in the Bahamas but, not surprisingly, they never wrote back.

This is the best I've got (accompanied his obit):

Wendall Woodall played for 1943 Johnson City Cardinals before entering the service. He was my high school baseball coach 1961-64. In the team photo I'm 3rd from the left front row in the jacket. Woody as he was called is 2nd from the left back roll.

I missed this when it was posted last month - I love your HS team photo!

This is me in an American Legion photo circa 1983. I am third from the left in the back row.

Shan Deniston

Does anyone have any photos of Shan Deniston by chance? He was a longtime minor league player, coach and manager.... photos have to exist of him, but I can't seem to find any! Also, he was a minor league umpire for many years, and even filled in on one major league game in the 1970s. Any help would be appreciated!
