Walter Maxwell West colorized in two images. The first depicts him with the Toledo Mud Hens and was shared by tnfoto. The other was shared by Cinemaodyssey and has him in his garb with the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Dodgers image is another rough image. His face is obscured by the darkness in the photo, even after I lightened it to the best of my ability. It occurred to me to try to clone the face to make it a more complete image. It was not entirely successful as I found that the only image that was even marginally acceptable was the one where only the eye was added.
