Whit Merrifield and Vinny Capra each went 3 for 5 as the Jays beat the Yankees, 8-3.

Two pitchers left the game to see the trainers, however. Kevin Gausman only faced one batter before leaving. We are told it was just precautionary and he will be fine.

But Andrew Chafin's elbow issue seems more serious. We await word.
