James Charles Wasdell with the Philadelphia Phillies. While doing this one, I noticed that Wasdell also spent time with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The caps for the Phillies from 44-45 are remarkably similar to the 42-43 Pirates. I changed the shoulder piping from blue to red and voilà! a serviceable image of Wasdell with the Buccos.

The proper Cubs cap has been put on Mr Stringer. Thanks for the fact check UKBaseball fan. I really can't explain how I got the red cap bill as I use "dressed to the nines" for uniform reference. Anyway, I have redone the cap. You can still see a little of the stitching in the bill. You did a nice fix-it job on your amended image, UK, but I wanted to repair my own image as well. Thanks.
