I have been supplied with larger images from which to work with. I have been employing an artificial intelligence program to aid in colorizing called Palette.fm It is the best such program I have run across. It is really great on backgrounds, but needs an occasional tweak here and there on faces and particularly uniform colors. I have not retouched the faces of either image and the backgrounds are also 100 percent Palette.fm. I did recolor the red stripes on both images, the caps, and the Cardinals in the 1938 image. It did great work on these images. Thanks for sharing them!
