Couldn't decide which one I liked better since I did 2 and they both turned out nice so I figured might as well post the other one too.

Art Delaney commenced his Major League career with the 1924 St. Louis Cardinals and the attached image is representative of that season. A right handed pitcher he appeared in 8 games and completed his only start. At 27 a relatively senior rookie he posted an impresssive 1.80 ERA. After this promising start it is surprising that it was not until 1928 that he reappeared with the Boston Braves. He started 22 games posting a 9-17 record. He played 20 games the following season with the Braves but his ERA increased from 3.79 to 6.12 and he never played again in the Majors. |

I think this one is actually him, at least according to UK Baseball Fan. Never seen this view of him before but I thought it would be fun to colorize it.

Emil Karl Haberer colorized from an image shared by UKBaseballfan. I upscaled using Deep Nostalgia.ai and colorized the image using Kolorize.cc with a few tweaks.

Yeah..... idk whats with it this time but its completely refusing to work specifically for this player. Its been working fine all day but for this one its not recoloring anything and I also attempted to do the pic of him with the Braves and for whatever reason the one time I wanted to recolor the tiny pinstripes on the collars it actually worked for that one but kept refusing to make the hat red so idk maybe I'll try on Delaney again later.

Without a large variation in gray tones in a black and white pic there’s not a lot of information for an ai program to
determine colors. That’s why on some cases it does close to nothing. I found it’s impossible to fine tune uniform element colors stripes and letters etc. I do those by hand. |
