the current facepack image is a (good) color drawing sampled from a Topps card... this might work for you if you prefer actual photos

i was looking for a colorization of the pic on the left

Personally, I think that one of these would make a better colorization candidate.

Attached is a 1924 image of Danny Clark with the Boston Red Sox.

Clark made his Major League debut in 1922 in a back-up role, appearing in 83 games, mainly at second-base with the Tigers. Clark next appeared in 1924 establishing himself as the starting third-baseman for the Red Sox. That role was short-lived and he did not play his next Major League game until appearing as a back-up outfielder with the Cardinals in 1927, his final Major League season.

I present Upton made with help from kolorize.cc in both images with the latter also being upscaled by deepnostalgia.ai

Dwain Anderson 1971

Dwain Cleaven Anderson colorized with the St Louis Cardinals. kolorize.cc did a fantastic job on this one. The uniform was almost perfect and nice look for the face. The only real work I had to do was the hat. It was bleached out. Also presenting a look at the final colorization filtered through deepnostalgia.ai
