If you don't the game Steam is selling the new updated version for 14.99

Does anyone know if I could purchase the Steam version but use some of the downloads from the GreyDog website?

I actually have the board game edition. Great game,

Just realized that, although there was a board game called that. :)

You can totally use the mods off the Grey Dog site with the Steam version of the game.

We are starting an online league over on Sim Champions if anyone is interested. The Dynasty | SimChampions | Realistic FIFA 15, Forza, The Golf Club, Madden NFL 15, and NBA 2K15 Team-Up Leagues - Everything Sports Gaming

This is encouraging news, as I'd rather play a college sim than a pro sim, but the game does need updating in regards to offensive systems. The game is so old the spread-option has been introduced, matured and is now on the downturn and it never made it into the game. Forget the HUNH or other tempo-based offenses. I posted to Arlie on their board and he basically said that was going to take some significant changes to the game engine and wouldn't be coming down with this patch.

Great game if you want to play as is. Customization is poor imo. OOTP customization has made me really sour on other text sims. Also do yourself a favor and buy the game on Steam.

Does the steam version fix the bugs? I first bought it a couple of years back from the greydog website and the crashes and errors I found crippling in what was a immensely fun game.

Yes, the Steam version contains all of the fixes in the most recent patches. I was also told by a little birdie that there will be another update forthcoming.

Real time???? BARF!

I like my sim football dynasties to be a week or two per season. Play an entire coaches career in a few months. Not half of my life!

Haha! Sorry... if it's your thing, go for it!!!!

I like Bowl Bound... but, I couldn't imagine playing it like you do.

I wish the game presentation could be a little better. Sometimes the results seem... off.

One of the benefits of our slower schedule is that it allows guys to be in other leagues. The pacing is unique, and really makes the college football season fun with that extra anticipation, just you'd have on Saturday for the real-life team you watch.

Mike,

Hope you see this. Have the "Steam" version of the game and would like to add mods but cannot figure out how to add them to the game. Any insight...?
