Hotto Motto Field Kobe

In anticipation of OOTP 23, I am back to work on some stadiums :D Can't wait for another great season!

Hotto Motto Field in Kobe was Ichiro Suzuki's first baseball home when he played for the Orix Bluewaves. It is still being used today. I think Orix Buffaloes play there on occasion. For my game, Orix Buffaloes already use Silvam's wonderful Kyocera Dome, so probably their *** Ni-Gun team can be based here because it is still quite a nice stadium. (And the fact that I built it, so why not put it to use one way or another, LOL)

Antonio Casadio Stadium

I had no idea this stadium even exists nor do I know what it's called, LOL. With some research efforts (and various links after links of web searching), I am finally able to locate this stadium on the map, and see the surrounding areas. However, there still isn't a lot of clear information so once again I have to take some creative liberty when building the thing.

Here comes Antonio Casadio Stadium, home of Italian baseball's Godo Knights. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nothing but flat land. Oh, actually there is a retirement and assisted living center on the right hand side. That's about it.

As far as I know, it's probably around 500. But I remember seeing it posted somewhere that the capacity is 1000 (forgot where I found that).

BaseballGOAT 04-12-2022 10:29 PM

It can be up to or just over a 1000. They have portable bleachers they use when some of the more popular teams cone to town. Or at least rhat used to be. The guys I know that played over there have been gone for for a few years.

Nat Bailey Stadium

This is a stadium I've always wanted to have in the game: Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver, BC! (home of high A Vancouver Canadians)

I remember growing up listening to Canadians' radio broadcast and also visiting the park a few times, always a leisurely experience. It really is a small but cozy place to spend a couple of hours just chilling and watching some minor league baseball action. I remember not paying too much attention to the actual game but staring at the beautiful scenery and the sunset.

This is the "Scotiabank Field" version (the agreement ended in 2009 so now it's back to being Nat Bailey Stadium). I like the look of the scoreboard at the time so I decided to keep the sign.

I dont know what information might be available, but a couple Cuban stadiums would be a nice addition between the Asian and European masterpieces you've made

I have a few places in mind to do this year, and I'll include some Cuban stadiums as well. What's interesting about Cuban stadiums is that they all have similar architecture. And I think this is probably because of the socialist system (a few architects appointed to create a blueprint that can be replicated quickly throughout the country relatively quickly). This is evident in the stadium shapes, lights, stands/roof....etc.

BaseballGOAT 04-25-2022 03:48 PM

Sounds good. Love that you bring attention to stadiums that are usually ignored. Than k you for the for the hard work

Daegu Baseball Stadium

Not to be mistaken with Daegu Samsung Lions Park, this was Samsung Lion's previous home for 33 years (1982 to 2015). Even though the team has moved to a newer stadium, Daegu Baseball Stadium remains intact to this day. It is now used mostly for amateur baseball and recreational activities. Most of the stands have been removed to create an open park atmosphere and it is renamed Daegu Civic Stadium Baseball Field.
I think that's a very nice gesture by the city. Normally stadiums would be demolished to make way for a shopping mall or something.

What I've done is to try to recreate the stadium during its days as a professional baseball venue so I had to reference 2015 and earlier photos.

Mokdong Baseball Stadium, please!

Thank you for making the KBO League Stadium.
There is a stadium that I really want to ask.
I would be grateful if you could make the old Mokdong Baseball Stadium used by Kiwoom Heroes.
It is the only baseball field in the KBO League that did not have outfield seats in the past.
The view of the general apartment complex beyond the outfield is an attractive stadium. Behind the fence without outfield seats, there is a space for bullpen pitchers to warm up.

Here is a link to the outfield bullpen pitching zone.

This looks interesting and it's good to have a lot of information available. Right now I have a couple of stadiums on my hands that I want to finish first. I'll keep Mokdong on the list. Please stay tuned.

Estadio Augusto Cesar Sandino

Ok, this is my first attempt at a Cuban stadium. Estadio Augusto Cesar Sandino is located in Santa Clara and home of Villa Clara Naranjas (or.... Oranges in English). The theme of the ballpark certainly fits the team that plays there. I am just so mesmerized by the orange that I knew I had to create this for OOTP!
