I'll surely work on this soon. Thanks for the pics. Those help a lot as it saves me time trying to find them

Please, don't feel embarrassed! I like making the mock ups! I'll see if I can dig up some better textures (the scoreboard was tricky b/c there were few color pictures of the complete board)

I'll try to mock up a pre-1947 fenway as well.

Hi. Thanks for the kind words.

Yes. The Milwaukee county stadium is just an updated version with some cleaned up textures etc.

The tiger stadium model is not my model. I took it from the 3D warehouse. I can look into changing the colors of the facades although I generally don't want to create a new version of a stadium for purely cosmetic reasons. Usually I only make changes when there are dimension changes or big structural changes. Like county stadium from the 50's to the 80s

Awesome! Thanks so much! I'll definitely download the updated County Stadium.

I hear you on redoing already existing models only for major physical changes/differences. Totally makes sense. Interesting that Tiger Stadium came from the 3D Warehouse ... wonder if that's why getting camera positions inside the park are so difficult? I don't have any difficulty lining up and setting good camera positions in your parks - but I have had a very difficult time getting a decent view "inside" Tiger Stadium. It's been a challenge.

great parks, just downloaded all of them...

only thing I noticed is that fictional 16 does not have a .prk file

silvam14 - these parks are FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for providing us with these masterpieces! Having different era-specific versions of the old ballparks makes playing historical seasons really come to life.

A question for you - and a request:

Question - the version of Milwaukee County Stadium uploaded on 8/15 - is that a touch-up (maybe with the new crowd texture) of the original version of County Stadium uploaded earlier (not the 1955 version)? Just was curious since I'm using in my 1971 replay the version originally uploaded.

Request: If you find you have a little extra time available - would there be any chance you could make a late-60s/early 70s version of Tiger Stadium? Tiger Stadium in those days hadn't been repainted to the friendlier blue color scheme that we all remember from the 80s til the Tigers moved to Comerica - rather, it had the MUCH darker U.S. Army "olive drab" color scheme - that made the stadium look and feel even older (and more foreboding) than it actually was. That was the color scheme that was in place when the Lions still played there. Anyway - I thought I'd throw it out there to you if you'd consider making that older version of the park. (the version currently available is the blue 80s-90s era park)

Again - much appreciated on all the great work. My wife (who is a native Chicagoan) was particularly impressed with your renderings of her beloved Wrigley Field - especially the 1979 edition. Great stuff!

Tiger stadium from from 1970 uploaded per your request

Also eck stadium and three rivers stadium are also missing .prk files

Holy WOW!! Silvam14 - you are BEYOND awesome!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this one! Tiger Stadium was one of the gems of the major leagues - and it was a shame it ultimately went the way of the ballparks of a bygone era.

Thank you for making this! I'm downloading now to bring it in for my '71 season replay project!! Good sir, you are a scholar and a gentleman and a man of tremendous talent! Much appreciated! :)

Silvam - a quick question - when I went to download Tiger Stadium, I noticed a new Cleveland Stadium file was posted as well? Was curious if that was an update of the 1954 model or the later era version? Thanks!

drksd4848 08-24-2016 09:59 PM

Anybody play with Shea Stadium 1964 yet? I've crashed every time I've tried to use it.

When I try to play a game with it, after I set up a team with the model, it defaults to the "default OOTP stadium". Then when I go to edit ballpark settings, the game crashes.

Weird... has anyone else had this problem?

My crude mock-up of Fenway park from the 1960s-1975. Very crude.

But I made the roof dark grey, added dugouts, darkened the fenway green, and did a composite of the wall scoreboard.

Also included are the pics I cut and paste from:

(BTW, because of the angle in right, I wasn't able to include the old digital scoreboard in right field, but the pic is there)

3D? Maybe?

I'm using Shea '64 with no problems so far. I haven't edited the camera angles, simply the version Silvam provided and so far so good.

Silvam,

Quick question. Are your 2014 ballpark files not compatible with this
ootp version? I tried loading up your dodger stadium from 2014 but could
not do it. The version that comes with the game is the current stadium
with all the advertisements on the fences so it's doesn't really fit
in with a 60's & 70's replay, lol. Once again, thanks for all you do you have made this version of the game the most enjoyable ever with all these retro parks.

Seems to do it whenever I load the .prk file. If I stay with the with default park dimensions and just load the 3D stadium, it's fine.

Just wondering if anyone else had that happen.

Did I mention 70s Fenway looks gorgeous BTW?!

silvam14 08-25-2016 09:18 AM

I'm not sure if it works or not. I haven't really messed with those except for petco park.
