1911 League Championship Series
Heading into the LCS, the American League has been turned upside down. The top two seeds, the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins, were knocked out of the playoffs early. The #6 Tampa Bay Rays will face the #5 Boston Red Sox for the right to go to the World Series. In the National League, the top seeded St. Louis Cardinals were eliminated, while the #2 seed Philadelphia Phillies (defending champions), won their series easily. The Phillies will face divisional rival Atlanta Braves, making the final four teams all representatives from the AL and NL Eastern Divisions. |
