66TH IPA ALL-STAR CLASSIC THIS TUESDAY IN SOUTHPORT
Pleasure Beach Park, the home of the reigning IPA Pro Cup champion Southport Sun Sox, will be the site of the 66th Islandian Pro Alliance All-Star Classic this Tuesday afternoon... 46 of the best and brightest Island baseball stars will put their diamond talents on display and hope to propel their teams to victory... it will be the Ruthlandian Union All-Stars going up against the Tycobbian Union All-Stars for the bragging rights in IPA circles... over the years this has been a one-sided competition with the TU Stars winning 44 of the previous 65 clashes... however, the RU Stars have won 2 of the last 3 years.

Managers Lorne Evans of the Southport Sun Sox and Garry August of the Colfax Black Sox will tangle again... they met last year in the IPA Pro Cup Finals with Evans getting the victory over August four games to one... it's IPA tradition for the skippers of the Tycobbian Union and the Ruthlandian Union to be in charge of the All-Star Game in the following season.

Evans will have 5 Rolling Hills and 3 Denton City players on his Tycobbian Stars, while August and his Ruthlandian Stars will be led by 3 Claxton players and a pair each from Fort Benton, Forest City and Ancona... Evans will have the most experienced team, led by shortstop Vincent McCloud, an 8-time All-Star, pitcher Clay Callaghan and second baseman Elivis Gilford, both selected 5 times in their careers... pitcher Juliano Machado has been honored 4 times... 5 players are 3-time All-Star picks: closer Burnell Kelley, catcher John Michael Lansdell, catcher Ozzy Crenshaw, first baseman Roy Roberts, center fielder Hugo Sutton and left fielder Jean-Luc Roubique.

Only two rookies made the All-Star squad... both of them will be performing for August and his RU Stars... catcher Billy Duhon is just 22, the youngest participant in the game... left fielder Eddy Arnett is also making his debut appearance in the All-Star Game... but August will have quite a few veterans... catcher Jean St. Julien had made the Ruthlandian All-Star team 5 times in his career... third baseman Fred Hahn and right fielder Lanny Waldrep have been chosen 4 times each... and first baseman Manny Sendejas and hurler Fred Barrown have been elected on 3 occasions.

There are quite a few oldtimers on this year's All-Stars... pitcher Clay Callaghan and shortstop Vincent McCloud are the eldest at age 37... pitchers Marcelo Cervantes, Pat McFarlane and Burnell Kelley are all 36... first sacker Manny Sendejas is 35.

There are 20 newcomers making their first first appearance in the midsummer All-Star Classic... 10 for each club.

I sure would appreciate it, if someone would tell me how to install my custom-made All-Star Team logos in place of the game-generated logos.

Keep in mind, I need step-by-step instructions... not very good with computers.

I have tried several times to install my custom logos in the saved games folders, but the game never installs mine... it always install its default logos.

Just finished the recap heading down the stretch in the IPA.

SUPER SEASONS FOR DIAMONDS AND RACERS
With a month of play still on the schedule, two division races have pretty much been decided in the Islandian Pro Alliance... the Claxton Diamonds in the Ruthlandian South and the Rolling Hills Racers in the Tycobbian West are super powers this year with huge leads heading into September... the Valmara Vipers also have a solid margin in the Ruthlandian North race... however, the five other divisions still are being hotly contested.

VIPERS ON TOP AGAIN IN THE RU NORTH
Here is how the Islandian Pro Alliance has progressed during its five months of play... in the Ruthlandian North Division Valmara has left everybody in the wake after posting a 52-28 mark since June... they were just 26-26 at the end of May and tied for fourth place, but not far off the lead... the Vipers (78-54) are 8 and a half games up on last year's RU North champion LaGrange (69-62)... the Ranford Bulls (68-63) and Glasco Foxhounds (68-65) are trailing in the third and fourth spots in the standings... the Gators have slumped in the second half of the season with only 23 wins and 29 losses the last two months... Valmara was only the sixth pick in the early season poll, but they perked up and took charge and are now headed for their second RU North flag in the last three seasons... the Vipers are quite likely to make the Pro Cup playoffs for a recording-setting 26th time.

SPARKLING SEASON AGAIN FOR MIGHTY CLAXTON DIAMONDS IN RU SOUTH
The defending RU South champion Claxton (89-42) started off like a ball of fire with a 40-12 mark in the first two months of the seasons and have continued to roll... going into the final month of the regular season, the Diamonds are enjoying an 11-game edge over Crystal Lake (78-53), who themselves are having a bang-up year... Grand City (72-59) and St. John (68-62) are a distant third and fourth this year... top-to-bottom in the batting order Claxton has one potent hitter after another, plus they have four topnotch hurlers in their starting rotation, beginning with All-Stars Mark Meisner (18-1) and Russell Krohn (18-2)... they just might be the best tandem in IPA history... this will be the fourth straight pennant for the Diamonds and will give them a shot at their second Pro Cup trophy in the last three years... Claxton triumphed over juggernaut Rolling Hills in the IPA Pro Cup Finals in 2064 in a glorious 7-game series... it could happen again this year.

MARSTON, SUGAR VALLEY, WYNNAMAC, COLD CREEK DUEL DOWN THE STRETCH IN RU EAST
Talk about a pennant race, you got a terrific one in the Ruthlandian East... four clubs are battling within 4 games of one another... the co-leaders, Marston (71-60) and Sugar Valley (71-60) are running neck-and-neck heading down the stretch with little breathing room to spare... last year's winner and this year's preseason favorite, Wynnamac (70-62), is clinging closely, just one and a half-game back in the race... the Macs are seeking their third division crown in a row... and the Cold Creek Raccoons (67-64) are only 4 games off the pace... it's anybody's race to win, but the momentum favors the Nine and the Rattlers... Marston can score runs, but Sugar Valley has the best starting five in the IPA... it sure does look like a stirring finish in the RU East.

MAYBE SLIGO BEST IN THE RU WEST... FINALLY?.. MAYBE?
The Sligo Rovers (75-56) have won 4 Ruthlandian West flags in the last 14 seasons... remarkably 10 times they also came in second... but the Rovers are sitting pretty right now and are hoping to give the second spot to someone else this year... Sligo has soared to the top over the last two months with a sparkling 35-17 record... the Rovers also are stocked with a strong 5-man rotation... the underrated Volusia Vigilantes (70-61) are still nearby 5 games behind Sligo, but they are not playing especially well of late, posting a 28-24 mark since the end of June... the V's hit the heck out of the ball, but they may lack the pitching to overtake the Rovers... third place Middlefield (69-62) uses its home-run power and starting pitching to stay in the race... but, they slipped badly (9-17) in July, but have perked up in the last month (17-10) to get back into the race... the Roosters have 6 games to make up in the last month of the season... it's been a lackluster year for last year's RU West winner, the fifth-place Colfax Black Sox (66-66), who have won the division flag twice in 4 seasons and twice fallen in the Pro Cup Finals in '63 and '65... the Black Sox bolted to 19-9 last month, but it might be too little, too late... Colfax has to make up 9 and a half games in September.

HAWKS, HELLCATS, RASCALS RAISIN' RUCKUS IN TU NORTH
10 times in the previous 15 years, the Oxford Red Caps have reigned supremely in the Tycobbian North Divison, but not this season... the Red Caps (65-67), picked to win again, have lost their luster and bluster and faded below .500 and out of the race... it's the North Hills Hawks (75-57), Hartsdale Hellcats (71-61)and White River Rascals (69-62) raising the ruckus... North Hills is looking like a winner with a 4-game edge on runner-up Hartsdale and 5 and a half games better than third place White River... the Hawks soared to the top in August with a 17-11 mark, while the Hellcats floundered at 13-15... after two slow summer months, the Rascals rebounded last month with a 16-11 mark... still they lost ground to North Hills... the Hawks and Hellcats have the best offense, but don't have the pitching the Rascals possess... this could be the first time in two decades North Hills has made the playoffs... Hartsdale has won twice in the last four seasons and even won the whole shebang, the IPA Pro Cup in 2063... it's been 10 years since White River prevailed in the TU North... with its lead North Hills looks to be the best bet to win... and they are playing well heading down the home stretch.

SUN SOX AND 'CANES SINK OR SWIM IN TU SOUTH
One year ago the Southport Sun Sox (76-54) were breezing along into September with a big lead in the Tycobbian South on their way all the way to the ultimate prize -- the IPA Pro Cup title... but this year, it's been a whole lot tougher... the lightly-regarded Cape Coral Hurricanes (75-57), the seventh choice in the preseason previews, came out of nowhere and blew away everybody in April and didn't slow down until August... Southport has been trying to catch the 'Canes the entire season and finally managed it... the Sun Sox put up a 17-9 record last month and finally surged past the 12-16 Hurricanes by 2 games... but the race is far from over... it looks like a down-to-the-wire finish... Southport has one of the best starting five in the IPA and they are banking on them again... Cape Coral is depending on its strong attack to see them through... the Sun Sox have a wealth of experience with two TU South flags in the last five seasons and the 2065 Pro Cup trophy... look for them to survive... it's been 25 years since the perennial also-ran Hurricanes have won a pennant... only in Hollywood scripts would this story end with Cape Coral riding off into the sunset with the pennant... that will most likely be the Sun Sox... forget about the third place San Alejo Montaneros (71-61) and the fourth place Arroyo Grande Suns (68-63)... neither club has the wherewithal to rise above the top two contenders.

4-TEAM FIREFIGHT IN TU EAST AS STALLIONS, RED SOX, NATS AND MUSTANGS TANGLE
The second-best pennant chase in the Islandian Pro Alliance belongs to the Tycobbian East Division... 4 clubs are still in the title mix, hanging within 5 games of each other... currently the South Fork Stallions (74-57) are atop the standings, but just barely... right on their heels are the Red Bluff Red Sox (73-58), just one game behind... two other clubs could also be a threat... the third place Ozarka Naturals (70-62) and the fourth place High Mesa Mustangs (70-63)... the Nats are just 4 and a half games back and the Mustangs trail by 5... South Fork was the overwhelming favorite in the preseason and was forecast to make shambles of the TU East... but that has not come to pass... it's been a firefight all year long... and as of yet, not one of the challengers are giving in... they are all playing well entering the final leg of the race... the Stallions have the best of both worlds... solid bats and rock-solid pitching... two items that favor them at the finish line... however, the Red Sox are not going away... they are hoping their quality staff will pull it out for them... likewise the Naturals are depending on the same thing... both Red Bluff and Ozarka fall short at the plate... High Mesa is just the opposite, the Mustangs will have to hit and score their way to the pennant... they top the IPA with 209 homers so far... nobody is close to High Mesa in four-baggers.

RH RACERS COULD SET NEW IPA MARK FOR WINS, JUST MIGHT SNATCH PRO CUP #6
So sorry, I don't have much to say about the pennant race in the Tycobbian West... actually, 'twasn't much of a pennant race at all in the TU West this year... start-to-finish Rolling Hills (94-38) has owned it... even the runner-up team is not in the running, if that makes any sense... rolling into September the Racers already have an overwhelming 14-game bulge over distant runner-up Denton City (80-52)... it certainly could be a record-setting year in several ways for the Rolling Hills Racers in the Tycobbian West Division... first, they just might set a new mark for the most victories ever in the Islandian Pro Alliance... the Racers are shooting to break the current mark of 107, set by Colfax in the Ruthlandian Union in 2010 and tied by the Midway Wolves in 2054 in the Tycobbian Union... 14-8 in September would put them over the top... more importantly, Rolling Hills would like to add to their huge collection of Pro Cup trophies... the Racers would like nothing better than to capture their 6th IPA Pro Cup... roulez les Rolling Hills Racers, roulez... roll on Racers, roll on.

Someone gave me the answer to this question... there is a good thread explaining it on the OOTP21 Discussions Forum... my mistake was that I placed the All-Star Team logos in the wrong folder... they should have been place in the "Team Logos" rather than "League Folders"... keep in mind, it is very important to place the All-Star Logos in the league's "saved games" folder under "Team Logos"... that "saved games" folder is deep into the game folders and is hard to find.

NINE, RED SOX, HELLCATS SNATCH PENNANTS IN IPA
In fights to the finish three teams came on strong in September and snatched pennants from their disappointed rivals in the Islandian Pro Alliance... the Marston Nine (86-68) outlasted the Sugar Valley Rattlers (85-69) and the preseason choice Wynnamac Sundowners (84-70) in the Ruthlandian East in a super-tight race... the Red Bluff Red Sox (87-67) wiggled past favored South Fork (86-68) in the Tycobbian East by a microscopic margin... and the Hartsdale Hellcats (87-67) hightailed it past the North Hills Hawks (82-72) in the Tycobbian North ... although they were pressured a little down the stretch by defending champion LaGrange, the slumping Valmara Vipers (88-66) managed to hold off the fast-finishing Gators (84-70) in the Ruthlandian North... the other four divisions played out fairly true-to-form with no real surprise winners... Claxton captured the Ruthlandian South, Sligo prevailed in the Ruthlandian West, Rolling Hills rambled to a record-breaking season in the Tycobbian West and current Pro Cup titleholder Southport repeated in the Tycobbian South.

RUTHLANDIAN UNION DIVISION CHAMPS: VALMARA, CLAXTON, MARSTON, SLIGO
Valmara almost squandered a big September lead, but the Vipers held on to beat last year's winner, the LaGrange Gators, by 4 games in the RU North... Valmara went 10-12 the last month, while the Gators chalked a 15-8 mark... it was the Vipers' second flag in three years.

The Claxton Diamonds (102-52) dominated the Ruthlandian South by going over the century mark in victories... the Diamonds easily triumphed over the Crystal Lake Skippers (90-64) by 12 games... it's the 4th division flag in a row for the Diamonds, who will be in the market for their second Pro Cup in 3 years... they won it all in 2064 when they whipped Rolling Hills in a rollicking 7 games.

What a pennant race there was in the Ruthlandian East... it was a 5-team adventure until August... finally it was the Marston Nine that emerged as division champion, nicking Sugar Valley by a game and Wynnamac by 2 games... it was neck-and-neck and came down to the last day of the season... nobody choked... in the tense month of September Marston went 15-8, Sugar Valley 14-9 and Wynnamac wound up 14-8.

No second place this year for the Sligo Rovers in the Ruthlandian West race... they were not bridesmaids like 10 frustrating times in the past 14 seasons... in September the Rovers went 13-10 and held off this year's bridemaid, the Volusia Vigilantes... the V's were 12-11 in the final month and lost out by 6 games... last year's flag winner and Pro Cup finalist, the Colfax Black Sox, labored near the bottom of the league until August... they closed very well, but still wound up 8 games back of Sligo... the Black Sox also made the Pro Cup Finals in 2063 against IPA champion Hartsdale.

TYCOBBIAN UNION DIVISION CHAMPS: HARTSDALE, SOUTHPORT, RED BLUFF, ROLLING HILLS
Over in the Tycobbian Union, the Hartsdale Hellcats got hot and dashed by runner-up North Hills by 5 games in the TU North... the Hellcats spurted to the title with 16 wins and only 6 losses for the last month, while the Hawks came down to earth with a miserable 7-15 mark... 'nuff said, y'all... it's over, when it's over... reigning champ and this year's pick Oxford started off in the cellar (9-18) in the first month of the season and never recovered... the Red Caps waited until August to make their move... by then it was too late... too much ground to make up... Oxford wound up in the third spot in the standings and trailed by 8 games... the Red Caps won the TU North 8 times in the last 15 seasons.

It was nip-and-tuck almost the entire season in the Tycobbian South between last year's winner and Pro Cup champion Southport and unsung Cape Coral, who started off in a big huff and a puff, but lost its punch in the final weeks of the race... the Sun Sox blew past the Hurricanes by going 30-20 in August and September... Cape Coral fizzled out badly with a very poor 18-32 mark... preseason choice, the San Alejo Montaneros, stayed under the .500 mark until July and never really challenged until the final month of the season, when they made it darn close... with a torrid run in the second half of the season the Monties came up just 3 games short of the TU South title... that was too close for comfort for the Sun Sox... the baseball experts almost got it right when they forecast that San Alejo would win the TU South crown this year.

The Tycobbian East was forecast to be an overwhelming runaway in favor of preseason favorite South Fork... no one was given any chance, but the Stallions... however, it did not pan out that way... 6 clubs made it interesting up until September, when only South Fork, Red Bluff and Ozarka remained in serious contention... last year's division winner Tuckanarra was a distant fourth... in September the Red Sox were 14-9, the Stallions 12-11 and the Naturals only 8-14... that gave the TU East to Red Bluff by a game over South Fork... as fate would have it, like the movies, it came down to the final three-game series between the Red Sox and the Stallions... by then, Ozarka had sunk into oblivion and completely out of the chase... in three spellbinding games, all decided by two runs or less, Red Bluff came out the flag winner... in the first game they edged the Stallions 4-3 on a game-winning homer in the 13th by first baseman Tracy Andrews for a one-game lead... South Fork came right back in the second game and deadlocked the standings again with a 2-0 clutch victory by their ace hurler Herm McClanahan (16-7/2.93 ERA) over Wilson Sharpe (12-12/3.39 ERA), both well-seasoned and grizzled veterans in must-win games... it all came down to a very-last-game-of-the-season showdown in game three where Andrews homered twice and drove in four runs for a fantastic pennant-winning 7-5 win.

And the best in the Tycobbian West was actually the best team ever in the entire Islandian Pro Alliance history... would you believe the Rolling Hills Racers rang up a remarkable 111 victories this season and easily toppled the old mark of 107 set in 2010 by the Colfax Blasters and tied in 2054 by the Midway Wolves?... yes indeed they did... 111 wins... the Racers also set a new IPA team batting record by hitting sensational .306 for the season, breaking their old mark of .304, which they accomplished twice, in '62 and '65... the Racers have batted over a .300 clip 4 times in the previous 5 seasons... there has never been anything like it in the annals of the Islandian Pro Alliance... Rolling Hills is on pace to win its record-setting 6th Pro Cup trophy.

Get yo'self ready for some baseball, y'all... get ready for a Pro Cup shootout between Valmara, Claxton, Marston, Sligo, Hartsdale, Southport, Red Bluff and the record-setting, proverbial powerhouse and juggernaut, all rolled into one, the Rolling Hills Racers... a Claxton-Rolling Hills finale is in the making... it would be a match made in baseball heaven.

Just noticed that a new home-run record was set this year by first basemen Roy Roberts of the High Mesa Mustangs... he broke Johnny Tallis' mark set in 2047 for the Mustangs... Tallis played for in the Islandian Pro Alliance from 2034 to 2050, playing his first 4 years in the Ruthlandian Union for the Kilkenny Cats... didn't play for several years, 2038 to 2041... was signed by High Mesa in in '42 at the age of 29... he had 8 very good seasons with the Mustangs.. Tallis retired in 2050... he still holds the all-time RBI record with 178 in his record-setting 2047 season.

Here are the Top 10 best home-run seasons in the IPA.
