Getting COVID is not dumb. It can happen to those who are taking every precaution possible. My wife diligently followed every state, county, local, and work law, rule, procedure, and guideline and she still got it. And is still suffering the effects 5 months later. And she's not alone. Calling someone dumb simply for getting COVID or being exposed to someone who has COVID is small-minded.

They have multiple positives, so it has nothing to do with your wife or her suffering (for which I'm sorry). And the Nats are dumb for reasons beyond ill players.

I didn't say it had anything to do with my wife. I just used her as an example. Your post specifically called the Nats dumb because of their issues with COVID. You may not like them for other reasons, but those reasons are not what you mentioned in that post.

It's entirely Metsy to announce the Lindor contract and within 24 hours have Opening Day cancelled! At least nowadays they're not unforced errors courtesy of Fred and Jeff and whatever they imposed in the organization.

All Mets games through Sunday are axed now. But if you want some warm Mets thoughts of c.2013, the Orioles somehow made Matt Harvey their #2 starter and he's pencilled in for tomorrow at 1pm :p

I hope all the guys in the bullpen put their spikes on at first pitch!


Meanwhile I've descended to watching the Red Nex and O's live. BAL seems unterrible compared to recent years and their starter looks good.
