A big congratulations to Waffletown however, the TV networks didn't like your sweep; they were hoping for a 7 game series! :D

Stanley Kuppchaser 05-03-2020 07:41 PM

The engraver didn't mind.

Jefferson Valley is ready for stone league, hoping some OL teams are there. The Rebels won back to back seven game series to win the Rookie League series.

See you all on opening day.

Charlatan 05-03-2020 09:15 PM

I got a small consolation prize for getting swept by Waffletown in the playoffs - got a pack from a tournament and received a 97 OVR Whitey Ford. No complaints there!

max venerabel 05-03-2020 09:58 PM

Ah so this is what the OL tag is all about... keep seeing you guys popping up in tournaments. Cary Southpaws are the bane of my existence in Silver 1625s..

Congrats. Please post your logo, so I can make you a world series winner plaque.

If you win a world series

Please let me know, so we can recognize the achievements of OL members. Haven't been able to check R56 or R91.

Stanley Kuppchaser 05-03-2020 11:23 PM

Please check your friends list

I guess we're back to 30 current members. Let's make sure we get everybody for 2026!

So the question is whether we are going to have enough teams in silver to have an OL competition next season. There were apparently two teams in silver this season (Kansas Rangers and Asylum Keepers) and there was one in gold, shinbone stars.

Three OL teams will make the jump from bronze to silver next season. Does anybody know whether the two OL teams in silver are staying put? Also an outside chance I guess that the Shinbone Stars was relegated this season (I note it shows only a single playoff for that team).

I gave up on trying to load custom logos on my MacBook. I am just using the generic Rebels logo in game. I followed everyone's instructions got frustrated and stopped.

I did put in ballpark coordinates for my teams this year. The JV Rebels was the name of the American Legion team I played for and shows our home park.

Stone and Bronze setup

Been having a difficult time loading the forum this morning. Haven't checked to see if everyone is where they belong.

I will cover both of these this week

had some misses for this week.... looks like our two Rookie level teams (Ring Road and Jefferson Valley are in different leagues).... Cochise County is in a different Stone league than the rest (everyone else is in Stone 163)... and the Kansas Rangers ended up in Silver 255, while the other Silver teams are in 279

Jefferson Valley is in Stone 163, same division, the NC Central as Daytona Beach. Ft. Huachua is in the NC West and Left Coast is a forth team in the AC East.

Looks like the Syrups and my Warriors are going to do battle 19 times in Bronze.

This is what I came up with, based on what I found I on the PT customize screen. Congrats. By the way, if the logo is okay, I'll use it going forward.

I can cover iron and silver, but...

it would be fine if someone wants to grab one of them. I forget which league, but one of them was perfect, with the OL teams spread so that we could get all the playoff spots. One really sucked, with four teams in one divsion and the Southpaws as an outlier. The other was, meh. The good one proves that it can be done. I just wish it was the standard.

SPBJT 05-04-2020 07:56 AM

Congrats to the Syrups! At least I held my own in OL Iron despite my sub-500 record overall. I finished the Astros mission and got Bagwell for this week . Working on the DBacks for Randy Johnson, then I think I may go to packs to see if I can fund some better missions....this week to week stuff for one isn't sitting well with my patience! Good luck to all this week. Looks like we got 6 in I-156.

I agree with the patience wearing thin. My Asylum Keepers, whose early amazing pulls set them ahead, but, in the end, hurt them because they didn't sustain the pack luck. They've languished in silver, waiting for the other OL teams, but have not been competitive, yet have managed to stay just above relegation. Consequently, they've not earned a lot, and with the crappy pulls from tourney packs, they may end up being the weakest link in the OL chain, now that they've finally got a crown chase. Of course, they have fond memories of the Food Fight with Shinbone. Oh wait, they lost all three!

Good luck to all this week. We have the four crown chases active.

Ring Road appears to be the only OL team still stuck in Rookie ball. However, taking the advice of much wiser people in OL, all three of my teams have been chasing collections. Ring Road finished the AL West collection, and will be getting some much needed help. Look for them to move up next season.

K-Town also finished a collection, the AL Central, and hope to move from dreadful to mediocre this season.

Meanwhile, Vlora drew the short straw and has been trying to finish the AL East collection. It is tough sledding. The Yankees collection looks like it will take awhile. Vlora looks to stay in Iron for the foreseeable future.
