You mentioned having Indian media guides. If you have guides from 1969 or 1970 is there any chance Ron Law exists in one of them? He is very difficult to find. I contacted the Indians and they say they don't have a photo of him. Thanks.

Sent a photo of him yesterday. Just a reminder to remove him from the missing.

I don't have him - I've got them all back through '73. As the older ones appear on ebay, I'll continue to buy them...and if I see him, I'll definitely post it.

I've got some family in the Cleveland area - maybe I'll spend some time at the library looking for Ron Law when I have some time off at the end of the month.

This is probably a really obvious and silly suggestion, but has anyone here looked into trying to track down old copies of Who's Who in Baseball via interlibrary loan?

Many thanks for pointing out the error of my ways in not using Baseball Reference as my player source.

Ron Law is killing me almost as much as Harvey Shank.

SABR is a fine organization, and I have been a member for quite a while.

But when it comes to acquiring actual photos of players (instead of location as to where the photos may be), we've accomplished more in a year than the Pictorial History Committee has period. :2cents: :)
