1923 1928 These look very similar. Main difference is that the diamond was moved up in 1928 making the distance of the fences different by a good amount |

This photo I have is dated 1923-1935. Don't remember where I found it.
One thing, the Yankees were the 1st team with numbers in 1929. By 1932 all teams had numbers. You can see the player by home plate has a number on his back. So, this is at least 1929. The pole in center is on the warning track. No monuments, yet, obviously. Attachment 497913 |
