On an off-topic note...
I'm pretty sure that, in TTL, George Romero has probably done a documentary or two on the Pittsburgh Pirates (he did do one on the Pittsburgh Steelers in real life) and their titles--he is from Pittsburgh, after all (as is Fred Rogers (1))...
(1) Romero, in fact, got his start directing for Mr. Rogers, and Rogers was a fan of Night of the Living Dead, which is interesting... |

The 1990s in a Box
Hard to believe this save is in its centenary year. In real time, it has taken me 3 years, 7 months and 25 days (or a total of 1335 days; or, which is quite cool, 3.65 times a common 365-day year) to cover 99 seasons.
Here's how the cumulative franchise tally looks, along with a 1990s breakdown. |
MLB Centennial Hall of Fame Ballot
As previously discussed, to celebrate the league's 100-year anniversary in this timeline, a ballot is to be held for another five players to be added to the Hall of Fame.
To be eligible for this, players must have completed the full run of ten ballots the first time around. This means recent retirees and any players dropped off the ballot before their ten years were up will not be considered. The final list of eligible players is as follows: The inductees will be announced over the All-Star Break. |
1999/2000 Rookie Draft & Legacy Players
|
(No) Call from the Hall
This timeline's HoF remains a far more exclusive club than its IRL version. Thru 99 seasons, it has just 120 members. |
