The Diamonders are the first of three OL World Series champs. Silver and bronze still going. Also, Iron Maiden and Asheboro in world series against non-OL opponents. Congrats to Norwood!

iron level has all three teams in three different leagues, and Ewa Beach got placed in a different bronze league for whatever reason.... everything else looks good...
nice placement in Gold with 2 in every division and 3 in the NC West |
Lineup for OL S319
1 Attachment(s)
Looks like Ewa Beach took a side trip in bronze, but the rest of what's on my friends list looks okay. Here's silver. Would've been perfect if two of the AL east could've shifted to the NL. Let's hope for nine-of-ten playoff spots.

It seems to have been the Mundys turn atop the crowded silver standings. I guess the Whalers will surface tomorrow.
I just noticed, the "thanks" button is gone from the forum. Has it been gone long? It was helpful to check that I had not missed something in reading. Oh, well... |

Ft. Huachuca Worst to First in Bronze

Ft. Huachuca used a 5-2 run against Daytona Beach to jump from last to the lead in OL B249.
Overall, the race for OL teams seems to be how many can stay out of relegation. |

Death Valley join Ft Huachuca at the Top of Bronze
4 Attachment(s)
Death Valley surged to the top in OL B249. Ft. Huachuca, sticking to the Ohio St. strategy of a limited schedule, had no OL games, and waits for their few remaining games, mostly against the moribund Muse.
OL teams continue to fare poorly overall in B249. |

Port Rupperts Continues to Pace OL S319

The Mundys held onto the lead, but there is a very busy OL schedule for September, with almost every team playing at least a dozen games, so there is wide opportunity for another contender to take home the crown.

Death Valley took sole possession of the top spot in OL B249.
Despite their middle-of-the-pack OL standing, Sierra Vista is the only OL team in playoff position. Three teams are in relegation spots, with three others in reach of relegation. |

Downloadable PT21 DB
Hey Guys,
I know Kris last posted a searchable database for PT21 cards, that was last updated back in October. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=321388 If I recall, I thought there a 3rd party PT21 player DB flooding around that we can actually download, for personal use. Do any of you know where I can locate that one? Thanks |

Keepers - OL Hitless Against Newhouser
Excitement reigned at Hartford Mall today as Hartford Whalers - OL hurler Hal Newhouser tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Asylum Keepers - OL, 7-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Newhouser said. "Today I just went right at the Keepers - OL as hard as I could, as long as I could." Newhouser chalked up 11 strikeouts and allowed 5 walks in his superb performance. "I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Hartford manager SPBJT. His record for the year is 12-8 in 29 starts and Newhouser has a 3.82 ERA. |
Tortoise Beats the Devil, Takes Bronze Title
It all came down to the final 3-game OL series for Death Valley and Daytona Beach OL B249. The Devils faced Ring Road while the Tortugas matched up against Iron Maiden. Daytona Beach swept the aptly-named Wasted Years, while the Devils were only able to take 2 of 3 from the Rams.
The 12-3 loss to the Rams handed the OL trophy to the Tortugas. (Final stats and standings will be posted tomorrow, as all other OL games have yet to be completed.) |

Gold league final standings:
Kansas slipped a bit down the stretch, but just a little, and still emerged as the OL champion. Overall, Waffletown picked up the top seed in the AC (and the only OL entry from that side), while Kansas (top overall seed) and Laramie nabbed division titles, and Highland snagged a wild card spot. relegations to Silver: Illawarra Flame side note: Waffletown's Satchel Paige claimed the Pitching Triple Crown (24-5, 2.82 ERA, 246K) |

Gold playoff update:
Kansas, Laramie and Waffletown advance to LCS (and promotion to Diamond) |
Promotions and Relegations
Team movements are now set, so I'll list them here. We should have enough teams for crowns in Diamond to Iron, so please be careful with checking your friends list and make sure to submit.
We have a couple of shots at OL World Series, including diamond, so OL could be represented in perfect next week. I'll check back in a few hours, hopefully with some hardware. Good luck to all. Diamond - Cary down to gold Gold - Kansas, Waffletown, and Laramie to diamond; Illawarra to silver Silver - Brooklyn Untouchables, Port Ruppert, Hooterville, and Hartford to gold; Cochise County to bronze Bronze - Shangri-La and Ewa Beach to silver; Ring Road, Otonokizaka, and Iron Maiden to iron Iron - Asheboro to bronze Be sure to note that Ewa Beach, Chicago (iron), Cat Town (iron), and Asheboro were all missed last week, so, if you are on their level, make sure you have them friended. |

The Palolo Puppies take home the OL crown, congratulations (I think we have enough overall games, although Hidden Valley didn't have enough to qualify). The Puppies and Diamonders both made the playoffs, and in fact, are meeting right now in the World Series, winner to the Perfect League!
Unfortunately, the Cary Southpaws will be relegated back to Gold. |
