Sabs ideas were very good from an organizational standpoint. It would be a lot easier to do it that way rather than with multiple groups. The reputation is a good idea for the RPG.

i guess i'd just like to see better and more diverse commentary and an easier interface which i think would help the non computer whiz people like myself quite a bit.

A few suggestions of my own
but I would like to see more graphics. I used to have this boxing game for my computer it was called TKO and instead of showing the guys in the ring it showed the two faces of the fighters, not a diagram but a video game picture of the two faces. Then if one got cut you would see red on the face or if one got punched you see the head go from side to side. Maybe if the fighter hits REALLY hard you can show the opponent's head going back and you can see the lights for a second. Another thing I would do is if you choose the year of the fight the fight will be fought with the rules for THAT year. For example say you choose to fight in the year Dempsey fought well this was when a fighter who knocked down another fighter did not have to go to the neutral corner when he was down. If you took this in to account a simulation of Dempsey vs Tunney might be more historically accurate. I think there are the right amount of cuts but I think the cuts ending the fights happen to often.

I've seen a lot of great idea's unfortunately I havent read through them all so I dont know if this has been mentioned.
The option to set all fighters back to beginner. And the random fighter generator to create a fictional universe(I know this has been mentioned I just wanted to give it another vote of approval:)) |
The ability to set a group of fighters to an age group is a must for the open play.

I sure hope Andreas or somebody is writing all this stuff down, because there's some good stuff here. And in the Wishes section of the forum too. Especially all those gems dreamt up by that fellow Cap! What a genius! Who else could've thought up that thing...he did with.....the stuff! Pure poetry! And the idea with the puppets was a stroke of utter brilliance!

Apparently NBC took offence to that and had it yanked. Big Brother is watching...... Cap |
a more polished display of in ring action would be great, complete with a throw chart, and other more alabrate forms of stat tracking. also id like this to be more then a sandbox game. a career mode would be great were you could take control of a trainer and manage the horses in his stable, of course youd have the option to promote and manage them. picking there fights. new fighters would spawn in a OOTP like mode. of course the usuall sandbox would stay intact.

It would be cool to actually be the promoter and have to hire the managers ... or be the manager and have to prepare your fighters for whoever the promoter schedules your guys to fight. |
Sandbox game? Horses in his stable?

Thanks gentlemen, there are a lot of great ideas in this thread :)
Please understand that we will not be able to do all of this in TB3. We will implement some of them, but not too many. The main objective will be a basic RPG mode. And since it's only a small team, we cannot promise you to implement everything. But we'll try to do our very best :) Still, I cannot tell you the whole story. But hopefully soon  |
