Some Questions
1 Attachment(s)
We could have five crowns possible this week, but bronze and diamond have not been heard from. Can anybody out there throw together standings?
Second question is - how long are people planning to remain active in OL for PT 21? The 2069 season will represent the 50th for this iteration, which I think will be the longest of the three. Any thoughts? Finally, we (I) have awarded the Founders Cup for PT 19 and PT2.0. The winners were pretty clear for both versions, with the Philadelphia Patriots (19) and Southern Southpaws (2.0) obvious choices. This time, I think, more teams could be considered. There are no set criteria for the cup, so those of you interested in perusing the OL spreadsheet and opining, your thoughts on which should be the third logo on the cup would be welcome. I've attached the previous cups. |

Gold league:
A final stretch push from Weston Pointe and Waffletown made it about as close as you can get at the top, but in the end the Brooklyn Dynasty held on to claim the OL crown. Overall, 4 OL team in the post season (2 on each side) with Brooklyn Dynasty claiming the top seed in the NC, and the Brooklyn Pimp Ministers taking the NC West division (something in the water in Brooklyn? Other teams might start importing water or the like :p)... in the AC, Waffletown claimed the top spot, with Weston Pointe taking the AC West division. Relegations: -Illawarra Flame -Krikkit War Robots -El Dorado Aztecs |

I'll be hanging around until v22 gets released on March 26 (and heck, I'll still check in come Sundays to v21 to see how my bunch fared like I check in on the v20 group now)... so if we want to finish out the last few weeks of v21 I can keep getting the tier stats wherever the Syrups land. for the Founders Cup... guess it depends on what numbers we look at... if I've kept the sheet right, the Kansas Rangers have won the most titles with 11, and they also have the highest winning percentage in OL play (789-519, 0.603).... for overall OL wins Weston Pointe Caspers have over 100 more wins in OL play than any other team (1301-971) |

Not the water...maybe the rice balls from Gino's, or the hot dogs at Nathan's, or Junior's cheesecake, or, if you want to go for the big bucks, the porterhouse at Peter Luger's. Of course, if it's liquid refreshment, it's gotta be an egg cream. |

To muddy the waters a bit...
Other points to consider might be the Brigadoon Highlanders five titles across five different levels, though they only played in around 1100 games with a .536 winning percentage. They are the only team to win on five levels. They also had super fan Groundskeeper Willie.
Other four level winners include: Terra Incognita with six overall, 971 wins, but only a .489 pct. Hidden Valley Bombers with seven overall, 702 wins and .563 Krikkitt War Robots with eight overall, 1108 wins, but also 1100 losses. |

Here are the Diamond results. Palolo had the best percentage, but only played 8 OL games, so Cary takes the OL title.
Norwood was the only OL team in the playoffs, but was eliminated in the LCS. Hidden Valley will be relegated. |

Mark, you have done an amazing job with OL Season 3 and this would not be as much fun without all of the countless hours you pour in to doing all that you do.....THANK YOU! I still plan on activity playing PT21 until PT22 is released, and then my PT21 team will go 100% on autopilot. I think the the other guys would agree, that 50 seasons of OL would be a nice round number to stop at. All of us remaining guys can still keep doing what we are doing however, I think it is safe to say that we can suspend the tracking of all of the OL teams and standing in all the different levels, after season 50. Thanks for all of you who joined, and played in OL Season 3 and a special thank you to those of you who were active in the forum board! For the record, this is not my last OL forum board post however, I do plan on posting a link to our OL Season 4 thread, closer to the release of PT22. Thanks Again! |
Thank you
A thank you to all the mods on here as well. I know I only did a few season of the standings but it gives you insight into what it takes. I will be on board for PT22.

Hey Magus!
Thought you had uninstalled the game again. Thanks for the last minute standings, but there's a slight problem, Fort Huachuca is one of aldion's teams and he left PT in a bit of a huff, or, to quote Groucho, if that's too soon, make it a minute and a huff. In any event, he withdrew from the game and OL, but didn't bother to edit his teams' names or acronyms. We haven't been counting his games on that basis. If you no longer have the numbers available to subtract those games, I'm not sure what to do about it. Anyone have any thoughts?

Ol s273

Team seem well spread out, however, it'll be fairly embarrassing if one of my teams doesn't win the division that all three were sent to.

Bronze & Iron

OL B292 should be fun with 7 OL teams (and two former OL teams).
Meanwhile, Iron's 50th OL season will end without a title, as only Ring Road and Cat Town will compete. |

Actually, OL's first season in PT 21 was 2021, which makes next week, 2070, the golden jubilee. |
2068 Rookie League
Obviously no other OL teams in rookie league last week, but the Jackson Wood Ducks finished with a 132-30 record in their inaugural season and easily won the rookie league series. Hoping to see a little more competition in stone league this week.

Daytona Beach's road to the title goes through Shangri-La. The bulk of the remaining OL schedule for the Tortugas is against the Dragons, over whom they hold a 7-3 advantage this season.
The Tortugas, Death Valley, and Transylvania remain as the only possible OL playoff participants, while Vlora, Shangri-La, Iron Maiden and Asheboro are in danger of relegation. (I will be unable to post tomorrow. Will recap the season on Sunday.) |

Please Vote for Founders Cup
Below are all the teams that have won at least 1,000 games in OL for PT 21. Also included is Kansas, which has the highest win percentage. The cup will be awarded at the conclusion of our 50th season next week. I myself will be packing it in after that. Thanks for the great ride folks!

Norwood claims the Diamond tier crown as Palolo stumbles in September with a 5-5 mark. Overall, three OL teams in the playoffs with Norwood and Palolo snagging division crowns, and Laramie picking up a wild card. relegations to Gold: Kansas Rangers and for the "celebrate the little victories" category, for the first time in v21, Waffletown finished over .500 at the Diamond tier (82-80) and did not get relegated after one season :D |

Cary Southpaws - 8 Weston Pointe Caspers - 9 Kansas Rangers - 10 Port Ruppert Mundys - 13 Hooterville Haymakers - 13 Krikkit War Robots - 15 Waffletown Syrups - 15 Hartford Whalers - 21 so my vote goes to the Southpaws |
