OOTP Fans;

We are looking for one GM to take over an existing team in the Adult Baseball League (ABL).

The open team is a contender for the playoffs this year in 2030 which will be our 19th season of OOTP SIM Baseball. This team has made the playoffs 6 of the past 8 years.

We are a fictional league, potential/stats only (ratings are hidden) that has 24 members from around the USA & Canada.

We will be starting Spring Training today & will reach the start of the Regular season next Saturday. We sim 5 times a week: Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Saturday & Sunday.

We use all the games features such as Scouting, Coaches, Player Development & also have a unique financial revenue system to help maintain competitive balance.

We welcome anyone that has a passion for this game and would like an opportunity to be part of a long standing, competitive yet extremely fun league experience.

Friends, I have been in the ABL since it's inception and I can tell you it is the best league you will find anywhere. It starts with the very best commissioner you find. I can't stress this enough because the commish sets the tone in any league. Our commish is fiercely organized and consistent, and he is always looking for a way to bring more depth to the league. Everyone has a voice, however, and he only makes changes in structure that the group at large is excited about. He calls it the Adult Baseball League for a reason and while he encourages fun and trash talk, etc... he will never accept anything less than mutual respect among the GM's. With his leadership, we have just improved every year on our core group of GM's. After this much time you will find a league that is very competitive... there just aren't GM's in this league that are not involved in their team and in the league as a whole. We have periodic podcasts and other things that bring a great deal of fun to the league. If you're looking for a league to join that moves pretty quickly, is extremely competitive and serious without losing sight of the number one mission-- FUN... this is the league for you.

I can't imagine that there is a better league out there. Jason does a great job. However, this league is only a fit for people who are REALLY into OOTP - it is fast paced, best if you are kind of a fanatic. Lots of communication and trades, but, you don't have to trade much and you don't have to constantly be on SLACK or email if you don't want to.

We have an open team in the ABL - Jacksonville.

They are in playoff contention this season.

The team is very balanced pitching/hitting wise. Very strong rotation with several allstar caliber players. Finances are break-even.

Excellent opportunity for an OOTP fan to join a long standing league that sims regularly and has a lot of league activity on SLACK.

Just came across your league site earlier today. I have to admit that I have been scouring all the teams and site. Even listened to the latest podcast. Great league you guys have set up. Kudos. Metro Leagues and ABL are my top 2 right now.

I've also just recently discovered your league and have been reading through your website and even listened to one of your latest podcasts. Awesome job, fellas! Looks like tons of fun and a great group of GM's.
