Another contract bug
I was going to offer a contract to a player rated 78/80, who was asking for 5yrs/$65mil, and I accidentally offered him a league minimum contract. This was at the beginning of the free agency period, and after about a week he signed my offer!
I typically don't mind getting a $15mil discount, but it's just a tad unrealistic. Also, there really should be a way to rescind a contract offer... Chris |

I've had this happen while extending guys as well. I was going to extend my stud SS who was asking for a 3 year, 24 million contract and accidentally submitted a 300k minimum 1 year deal. He accepted.

lol, what a joke, how the hell does that happen. he must have really given you a serious hometown discount.

I had an 18-6 pitcher ask for, and then sign, my $1.2 mil/2 years offer. Comparable pitchers were going for 5-8 million, while top batters were going for upwards of $20 mil.
